I killed Bayle without even knowing that I could talk to her. What the hell. This is what I hate most about fromsoft games, same thing happened with Boggart. I couldn't complete his quest because I went to the volcano manor without even knowing about it and locked myself out. I had no idea, and now shes dead and I cant get the summon. What the HELL man.

Well I wouldn't necessarily say he was OP, but his build was probably a good match up for Bayle. I tried fighting Bayle with melee dual greatswords for the first 5 times, but it was kinda tough and I kept getting distracted because I was laughing at Igon's lines during the fight. But on the 6th attempt I decided to use Pest Threads and Bayle just started to melt. It only takes maybe 10 casts of Pest Threads to kill him. I hesitated killing Bayle at first because I didn't get to see much of his 2nd phase, but I was sleepy and just finished him off. Pest Threads are really the best things against big bosses like Bayle, Elden Beast and Furnace Golem.

I haven't gone there yet although I already beat Messmer and can technically head over. But I'm still taking my sweet time exploring the maps I've uncovered hehe. Shadow Keep had a lot of secret areas.

Easy he says. When I beat him Igon was in the middle of dying as I traded one final blow against Bayle and died promptly after. Truly only Furi has made me feel this alive. It’s a legendary battle for me and a nondescript battle for this guy. Maybe that’s the difference of a role player and an optimization player…

Definitely there at night. I went to the grace and did "pass time" to get it to the evening....Now just waiting for her to wake up, tried resting at the grace a few times, went and killed gayle, still asleep 🙃
