You can just watch the 2 dragons fight until one of them kills the other one then you only have to deal with one.

If you don’t care about the priestess heart/ can’t beat bayle while going up you can find a ghost chair stand infront of it for a few seconds and it will drop a rock heart

I'm trying to directly compare this unnamed giant dead dragon at the Grand Altar to Gransax and I can't figure out who's bigger. Gransax definitely has bigger wings but the bodies and heads seem pretty similar in size.

Hey I did everything in the quest, besides summoning Igon in the fight (I forgot). Still I got his armor, bow and the dragon lady items too... Soooooo does summoning him add something to the quest (besides the rawest line of dialogue in the boss arena)

I summoned Igon, he survived the entire fight. I got Igon’s bow, Igon’s armor, Igon’s bell bearing, and the Dragon Priestess summon ash. (I believe you get the ash instead of the weapon if you put her to sleep and then confess that you tricked her).

small tip! if you can't (or don't wan to) defeat the two dragons that is fighting you can just wait it out and kill the real boss

Side note the gavel is pretty good he didn’t cover it here but the skill is pretty decently strong but it also makes the enemy 20% more susceptible to lightning damage for a whole minute

Btw u can cheese sannsax by using a ranged attack then going back the way you came from and that will cause it teleport back to the arena and you can just keep doing that

From wiki👇🏻: This item is non-reusable and must be re-obtained by speaking with the priestess. There is no cost from her and she will grant you the blessing an infinite number of times. If the dialogue option "Ask for power" is not available, simply rest at the grace and that should reset it.

kinda much +7.000 in all status. It's nice because let you play without armor on basis game since add 0 weight, and give some boost to Red Lightning incantations.

you can get the Dragon Priestess as a spirit ash if you dose her with Thiollier's Concoction at Night. (THIS HAS TO BE DONE BEFORE BAYLE IS KILLED). Then she says she has no lord and that you will become her lord, so you get the ashes

I killed bayle first try but sanssax took me more than an hour to kill :)) whoever designed sanssax was pure evil. the way I can’t focus on his legs was so annoying eventually I had to use the running on my mount strategy, I didn’t enjoy that fight

Awesome. Mainly wanted the Flowerstone gavel so a huge thank you! Bayle was my toughest dlc fight so far but got him on 4th attempt (savage lion’s claw on blood rusty anchor: scadu @ lvl 10). Previous dragon was a chore too but rewards were worth it!

I believe summoning Igon doesn't increase the boss health bar since his summon sign is after you've already entered through the fog wall and started the fight

You don't actually have to fight both those dragons together. When you get up there and wait a second before you approach them, you'll notice that they're fighting each other. You can just wait until they're finished, and fight the winner. That's how I beat that part.

I went and completed jagged peak besides bayle, without ever knowing igon existed. Now I go back and try to find him to start his quest after killing the dragons, besides bayle, and I can’t find him anywhere. Followed this guide looking for him. So did I screw myself out of his quest??

The upsetting part is that I talked to the priestess after finding Igon again, got the blessing thinking I had the dragon form, and killed Gayle alongside Igon without talking to him again for the dragon form. I am eternally upset As Igon would say… *“CURSE YOU BAYLE!!!”*

@@cello934 you only get the spell dragonbolt of florissax (after defeating bayle) if you have given the priestess at night the item you obtained from Thiollier. You can only get either the dragonbolt or the heart & hammer per playthrough.

There are actually two dragon forms. You get the other one by doing a painting puzzle. The Dragon Priestess Heart boosts dragon cult incantations, while the Rock Heart boosts dragon communion incantations.

Actually bayle pretty easy boss. Kill him with 3 attempt. Still noone can beat Midir. But fight cool AF. And Igon quotes badass af.

it works like the shackle items or the blasphemous claw, it's a tool that stays on your hotbar. if you use it while in dragon form, it boost dragon incantations

It's a consumable item with infinite uses. You must be "naked" to use it. Once you die, either in your world or in another world (as a phantom), you will turn back to human and must reuse to item to change back to dragon/omen form.
