In the last part there is S_phasor = Vrms_phasor * (Irms_phasor)conjugate is that correct? I am not sure if Vrms_phasor and Irms_phasor exist. Thank you!

Yes, that is correct. (We usually don't write it that way).

in the equation S=I^2 x Z , wouldnt the the I^2 also be conjugate , like S=I*^2 x Z .

@Yo ming IxI*=|I|^2 that is the magnitude of its absolute value, and based on this, my question is; where does the phase angle for I (current) go?

Dear, sir here shows this is a video of elect. Engin. 12 ac power(38th video out of 58)but in playlist of electrical engineering 12ac power, it shows ,only 37 videos present,so where I can find rest of all video please! And also this case repeats in other play list like basic math,algebra,physics,...etc please do needful so that we found all videos in play list.. please sir, your videos helps me in clearing fundamental ,& also helps me for my future exam thanks a lot sir

i am confused why did we take complex conjugate of I, You say it's to get Theta V - Theta I = Theta thus S=S but how? LIke s = 0.5 imax*Vmax thus (Theta I + Theta V ) Thanks for you help

i was having the same problem but since the magnitude also includes the theta part as cos theta so when we don't take the complex conjugate of I we end up adding the angles and the power factor is changed . so even if the apparent power wont change the average power will change if we do not take the complex conjugate.

cos phi = Pav/S(apparent power) you can now see how the change in the angle affects the apparent power

S=((Irms)^2)(Z), I^rms here is magnitude not phasor.

@@MichelvanBiezen Welcome sir. And the S=(Vrms)^2/Z*, Vrms is magnitude as well (I'm not so sure if the Vrms on the board is bold or not, sir. )
