I’m not sure why Tesla’s didn’t use heat pumps right out of the gate. Theoretically, resistive heat is 100% efficient while heat pumps can be up to 300% efficient. The technology is quite old and fairly simple. The only reason modern cars haven’t used them is b/c they have an abundance of extra heat, and low power supply ability.

Okay, i own a regular truck for work everyday and i noticed that with this new Cybertuck, the way it is designed, it is not going to allow you to grab items from the side of the truck bed. I find it very convenient to grab items, like a ladder or small items i put in five gallon buckets..etc. from the side of the truck bed. The Cybertruck has metal blocking the sides of the truck bed portion. Now you would have to always go to the end of the vehicle to get stuff. When you are in a rush to get to the next job, a truck that allows for side entry to the back of the truck may be more convenient to have. I like the Cybertuck appearance but i would rather use a regular truck bed for work.

here in Europe a lot of people do not really have the Cybertruck on their radar screen. It just does not fit into the car categories they are used to look at. ....but I think that might change drastically as soon as people understand, that with different functional Tophat-ad-on-constructions the truck could easily change into a perfect camper, or commercial light truck and still provide all the Tesla fun at reasonable money. It's so funny how Elon always succeeds in staggering the old school car managers although he spreads all the info in time that is essentially needed to understand what's coming. Same for the SEMI. One thing is of concern for me, as a disabled person in a wheelchair the steering wheel as it is in the demo version could be a deterrent for the disabled. Does turning in a tight radius require the steering wheel to be spun around? Also, where would you place the spinning knob required by most disabled drivers? I am seriously considering paying cash for a Cybertruck in 2022 or whenever I can order one here in Canada. But my concerns would need to be addressed before I would invest my dollars for the top of the line Cybertruck.

interesting set of concerns, hopefully the final cybertruck will address those for you.
