I know Apollo aren't relying on my whining & harshly criticizing anything I don't like about their scooter lineup - I only started riding ('22 Ghost) this April. I'm upgrading to the Phantom '23 but don't have enough $ for the Pro just yet. I have a giant list of little nitpicking things I do NOT like about the '22 Ghost, despite it being the best thing I've bought in years - and I swear, every single gripe I had about it has been answered in the Pro. The Phantom resolves many issues, but the Prod just nails it. Hell, maybe they are listening to me. The bolt/screw sizes being listed is like it came directly from my list. I could write a small book on what people new to scooters should buy, be ready for & how you can drastically reduce use of your car & how much fun it is! It's like flying!

Really good review. I expected a bigger channel to be rather topical in it's talking points but you got my respect with the drop at the intro. In-depth coverage of the merit in suspension choices and kickstand really won me over! As a fellow review-channel, I want to share my respect for covering the product so thoroughly but also digestibly while still doing some quick deep dives for the questions I didn't know would be answered here, such as ReGen kicking in upon engaging the drum brakes, which I was hoping it would since they seem weak on their own. I have a lot more confidence in this expensive purchase and I might be likely to make it now.

apollo isn't known for their reliability and safety but this scooter almost made me forget all that, as someone who just ordered the gt2 it's impossible for me to choose between these two but the gt2 is the only one available to buy in sweden, i am also a bigger fan of the hidden suspension of the gt2 compared to the open arm design of the apollo, the apollo also has a less appealing handlebar design it looks like an ebike where the gt2 looks like a motorcycle, but everything about the apollo appeals more to my style than the gt2, one big thing that worries me about the gt2 is the lack of regen brake throttle as i use it only on my g30d and i don't know how i am supposed to go back to handbraking, it's honestly difficult for me to choose if i had a choice between the two but i didn't, i hope the apollo doesn't come to Sweden as then it will be more difficult for me to deal with my choice

When you are on the tarmac testing speed, I can hear squeaking when your hit the brake/throttle. Is the suspension squeaky (e.g., listen at 6:45, 6:50, 6:57)? I wish Apollo provided a charging brick that permitted variable charging limits (e.g., 80%, 90%, etc.). The battery is the most expensive component of the scooter and most people are not using these scooters as daily commuters. Charging to 80% will extend the life of the battery for people using this on the weekends. Segway has this feature on the $900 Max G2 and $2000 p100s.

The REEL appeal for a 60 mph scooter it's only to impress others when they ask how fast it can go. If you are an adrenaline junky most hyper scooter comes with drawbacks and compromises that make less sens for everyday use. The best would be having 2 scooters. Everyone hypes up hydraulic brakes but I think drum brakes are the best option on a scooter. Sure some guys don't mind working on their scoots, I'm one of them. With hydraulic brakes there's always something to "tweak" or they can always be better then where they're at.. drum brakes are plenty to even stop a 45mph scoot and they're the definition of low maintenance.. there's a reason even a company as high quality as Apollo is utilizing drum brakes more and more.. I get it tho, it is cool to have hydraulic brakes, big shiny rotors and colored calipers. It does scream at non scoot people that " this isn't a toy". I think drum brakes on scooters are the way to go and you'll see them much more but I understand why many will continue to prefer hydraulic.

It's meant to be a car replacement for your average Joe, and I think it does a great job in that segment. The only thing I'd like to see honestly would be a little more range, but 37 miles in ludo mode is pretty good. My Apollo Ghost gets around 30 miles real world driving on my hilly 9 mile commute, and that's sufficient, but having a little extra wiggle room would be nice for other errands if you're going to completely replace your car.

The tires are tubeless self sealing/healing. idk what city you are in but i run tubelsss healing tires on my scooter as well and i live in NYC the streets here are total madness like urban off roading with few places actually being smooth or pothole free. ive never had a flat with tubeless. its tubed tires you need to worry about since they are prone to pinch flats.

@@TheCylonBomb California, and tubeless self sealing tires are still unfortunately prone to flats and damage. I like running my scoots on gravel, canal banks etc, alleys. Our streets are riddled with debri, pot holes, cracks and constructions workers and homeless have junk everywhere, ran over tacks, nails, glass etc without realizing it plenty of times. I'm no rookie when it comes to scoot and have had every type of scoot. Solids are peace of mind all together.

Hello, I urgently need your opinion and advice. I bought a scooter from another seller, a 5600 watt dual motor scooter. Imagine that assistance levels 1,2 and 3 do not work and neither does the ECO mode on the rear motor. I have had other scooters and I have never seen this and I have never seen this on other scooters ...... The speed is 23 Km Hrs on assistance levels 1, 2 and 3........ They never mentioned this to me before buying the scooter and they say it's the seller's choice of the controller. I don't believe that and I've never seen a scooter run like this. It works on the 2 motors with different speed but not on one motor. They say I have to change the controller, it's crazy, I received the scooter yesterday. What do you think ? I have the impression that it is a problem of programming the codes of the scooter...

This is a beautiful scooter and I have been a fan of Apollo but it’s just hard for me to justify spending $3500+ on a 52v when I can get a Dualtron Ultra 2 or Solar FF Black edition at 72v for less money. I already have 2 60v scooters so that is why I hesitate on this model. Tech-wise, the Pro is at the top of its game though.

This looks amazing, I just wana ask does that creaking ever go away? I know most scooters end up creaking and you gotta eventually see to it with a lubricant/grease but surely fresh out of box scooter and creaking noises. Just I'm getting make-up on a pig vibes with this it's too nice -^ hmmm especially for a £3000+ scooter

Well as an Apollo Army member, I can say I really like this ride, except 4 gripes, drum brakes, self healing tires, small deck and terrible rear suspension, if they fixed those 3, it would be the most untouchable machine ever made.

What happens if you break your quad lock (happens), can it be replaced? I’m going with not yet. Tire changes won’t be easy also, no 12” tires locally, anywhere. God forbid you hit a pothole with low air and bottom out your rear hub motor, how do you replace an Apollo cracked motor? You cant get parts (period.) This turns into and 80lb brick if you cannot fix it.
