Take a look at the JHS Muffuletta, it has 6 different muffs in it, all analog. It also includes the rams head, the civil war russian, loads of stuff!

OK, let me start by saying that these guys are the folks I trust for serious tone. I was a 14 year old kid when they first knocked my d*ck in the dirt with the incredible tones their gear coughed up. My lead guitarist D and me have a pair of their new Mig 50's coming in next week and we couldn't be more psyched. Still waiting on that Canyon pedal though (C'mon already, we WANT this thing)!

Regarding the pop. All pedals used to do this. The newer ones should not. We used to add a digital switch back when we put all of the effects into one box and used a separate pedal board with nothing but switches on it. That eliminated the pop. I might do that to the one I'm fixing, but first I need to power it up to see if it still works at all.

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me where the power wire would go on the pc board. I have a classic Bad Stone with the sheet metal box (not the newer aluminum), orange bad stone all lower case, with the black rectangular patch that covers the footswitch and has PHASE SHIFTER written in all upper case. The pc board is the mass produced version, coded EH5800C, not the one covered in solder on all the traces. The battery fell out and the power wire to the 9VDC plug came off with it. I can't seem to find the spot where it connected to the pc board. All of the other spots where wires were attached have a big lump of solder. I don't see one missing a wire, however. I can send pictures of the pc board if that helps. It will take me 10 seconds to fix this once I know where the wire goes. The schematics I have don't really help. Any help would be appreciate.

I bought a used one without any notion that there would be a bizarre problem like this. The pop is LOUD and makes you not want to use the pedal at all.

People had have that problem but mine never had that problem, I bought it new a month or two back. I know it’s a bit late but hopefully other people can see this too. It seems to either be luck of the draw, or that I’ve read it’s gone away for a lot of people with time

EHX I've had it done once before for the same problem though. Ozone smell coming from the input and the output jack, and no phasing. I'm kind of concerned you guys have received a bunch of bad transistors or something.

It depends on what is better/worse. If more control of the sound is better then yes!!! The small stone has just a rate knob and a color switch. And the bad stone has rate and feedback, which is like the color switch on the small stone, just it's more adjustable and has 6 feedback stages instead of 4 like the small stone (with color switch in on position). And the bad stone has a manual sweep knob that's really bad ass!!
