Thanks Peter. I have a 50 MHx module that I want to use in an up converter for an RTL-SDR dongle. I was trying to figure out the pin-out. You are the only one who explains it clearly. 73 Bill N2CQR

Cool project Peter. I like it when you post this sort of thing. 73!

Very good, Peter ... another of your videos which has got me thinking about how I can use some of the parts in the "junk box". Cheers, Mike VK2IG

Can i use several oscillators connected in parallel for better transmitting range

These could be used in hidden transmitter hunts Add a voice recorder chip for voice ID

Good idea. Don't even need a voice recorder. Check out the next video.

Do 2 pin oscillators work for this?

Quite curious ! How long can this kinda module reach?

Hello Peter! How tune the both capacitors and coils for 147 MHz? 🤔
@vk3ye Жыл бұрын
Use a receiver or VNA on 147 MHz and tune for max strength.

When we build LC circuit to oscillator for example 3...4...5 harmonic (oscillator is 1st frequency = 28MHz) and we turn LC to 5th harmonic =140MHz and antenna create to 2m band, can we receive for example 3 harmonic 1km distance? Maybe if we build LC on one frequency therefore we attenuation another frequency? I want use cristal oscillator use for 70cm band, so... Can I use 27,027MHz and 16th harmonic with LC filter (27,027x16=432,432MHz)? Maybe 16th harmonic with LC will be not strong enough? And this transmitter with LC filter create something strong besides 432MHz? (example 5th harmonic 135MHz?) 73!

@@movecizetodobryfilm Yes. Output will be dirtier the more times you try to multiply. Multiple or cavity filters will help fix this but are heavy, expensive or tricky to align.

@@vk3ye OK, thank You for knowledge. So what are I doing if I want generate quite good signal in 430-440MHz and use cristal or cristal oscillator and some parts?

1:51 "16.381" Looks like 16.384, = 2^14 kHz, a very common clock frequency. Cheers.

Question: Can I use the square wave itself as the carrier, or would it be better to convert it to a sine wave with an RC filter and amplifier before injecting it into the transformer? Great video, by the way!
@vk3ye3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I don't understand your question. Which transformer?
@seyedmarashi5 жыл бұрын
amazing video, Thanks.... what is max. frequency that we able to make with this Crystals after Multiplying? for example via 100Mhz crystal are we able to make 1.6Ghz az your schematic or we need special transformers or coil or something like Amplifier..

Can you design a dsb transceiver for 6m using the appropriate crystal module, like the beach 40...?
@vk3ye6 жыл бұрын
You could by tapping off a harmonic from the module and feeding it to an NE602 balanced modulator or similar. But it wouldn't be frequency agile. Unless you do a premix VFO arrangement like I did with my 27 MHz CB BFO.

Only very slightly eg by varying its supply voltage as can be used to transmit FM.

Some osc's were used as they went as low 80 meters you are right any board is worth investigating as I'm a qrpp operator. Kv4li ps keep the harmonics as low as you can. USA it's 40 db and down.
