Elegant Buttercream Rose Cake Tutorial- Rosie's Dessert Spot

In this cake decorating tutorial, I demonstrate how to create roses, blossoms, and a super cute ombre effect combed effect on a two tier cake. Enjoy!

In these video tutorials, I normally use Bakels Premixes to save on time.

Technically this would work well as just about any occasion cake, but it reminds me more of a wedding / engagement. Hi Naz, thank you so much for the lovely comment :) I normally go for Americolour or Chefmaster. These colours would have been Chefmaster in soft pink, egg yellow and electric green.

Hi Rosie , very nice cake, thanks for showing us, and i have a question what gel color do you use? I am not sure if i have been using it wrong way or not in my butter cream frosting ? It is Wilton gel color but my problem is the color is dripping off from the frosting cream when i bring cake out to room temperature from chilling in the fridge, the color is like dripping off from the frosting like dots around the cake , is it normal for gel color in butter cream frosting?
