Dr Monte demonstrates the proper way to perform the chin tuck exercise. This daily routine can help anyone with poor posture or who has experienced cervical spine pain at some time.
This is a routine we would teach in the clinic to patients recovering from some type of neck pain. This includes acute pain that could include whiplash, to chronic pain from working at a desk.
Along with the other benefits mentioned, this routine is actually great for helping to prevent or alleviate headaches. Tension headache and migraines can come from the tension in the cervical muscles and suboccipital muscle groups. This helps to stretch those out and relax the tension.
Take time daily to quickly perform these exercises and improve your quality of life!
