Thanks for the help so far Ant! Love the videos. Your voice is amazing. Lol. I've been playing for just under a week and I'm just dropping in my first passenger mission worth 4 million as I'm typing this! :D I love everything about this game, from the exploration and discovery to the potential conspiracy we're all a part of. I almost fell off my chair the moment I discovered it's actually based on the Milky Way, I've never played anything like it! It scratched that "No Man's Sky" itch. Such a shame it turned out to be so disappointing, but now I have this! I look forward to your videos mate! Keep doing what you're doing.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to you. The vids youve made have been a massive help for me to find my feet in this game. So far ive had elite for around 3-4 months and amassed around 4 weeks playtime. None of this wouldve been possible without your excellent tutorials and information. I continue to watch even now...more so now that I fully understand the intricate workings of the whole galaxy. Im currently in the California Nebula, visiting these Alliance stations in the hope that i can be offered some kind of thread that will lead towards something Thargoid related. It may just be a pipe dream...but who knows. o7 Fly safe.

I like the idea of this and I hope they continue to add more stations and outposts. I think it would be great to be able to stop at different stations along your journey across the galaxy. It would make things a lot more interesting and also make you not feel so alone out there or 'home sick'. I don't really get that, but I know some people do. On another note, I am under the impression that if the Alliance has a relationship with the Thargoids, you will subsequently have the option to side with the Thargoids or be against them, which would change your experience of the game entirely.. that is pretty cool.

i checked out the california nebula... did a trilogy series highlighting my discoveries - and in conclusion, the one thing I found the MOST of... ROLE PLAYERS. Keep an eye out and make sure you know your lore if you're going to head out here!

This is sheer speculation due to the fact that I don't have a very good understanding of the lore, but perhaps it is planned for the alliance (or perhaps that system) to negotiate with the thargoids, and even form an alliance of some kind, or it will simply be just that station, and it will become a major human/thargoid trade hub for those who wish for peaceful relations between the two races

Really enjoyed this one, Ant. The new camera tools really complement your story-telling style quite well. The view at 5:36 is spectacular. I'll need a new computer before I get out that way, so this was a nice little tour. NGC-7822; wasn't that one of your extended forays into the black during beta, or right around launch? I seem to recall a trip out that way, following the stars.

Another cool ringed star system is HIP 38064. Ran into that on my way to visiting VY Canis Majoris. I do have a question and problem though, which permit do you need to visit the Orion Nebula? I am trying to get there from Canis Majoris, however most of the systems on the way there require some kind of unknown permit. I didn't need this on a previous visit a year or two ago. It's like a maze, but fun to work my way through. Thanks for the vid!

The whole area has been locked out by Fdev some time ago. They even had to "teleport" commanders out of there since they coundn't jump anywhere ^^ So far , no news at all regarding why it has been done, but i bet some future content will be implemented there.. who knows maybe for 2.4

PS4 noob here, but why do they colonize inside nebulas? Is it because they act as "landmarks" or are more likely to have viable Earthlikes?
@rowley17217 жыл бұрын
Jakecool19 The annoying truth is that we don't know. The Alliance in the lore of the game were instrumental in defeating the Thargoids the last time we went to war with them. We also know the Thargoids live on Ammonia worlds and the Alliance base is in a system with an ammonia planet. Possibly just research, possibly testing out a NEW biological weapon.
