My budgies will bathe in their actual water bowls all the time, but never in a place that is MEANT for bathing. I walk into their room sometimes after school and there’s water being splashed EVERYWHERE… Also, the subtitles when you were singing Kermie Bird was hilarious 😂

Don’t do that, I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to get a small bowl, put it in water and let the sink turned on, putting water on the corner of the bowl, put your bird in your hand, and let them slowly go to the water. They know what to do, if they don’t like that, spray them with water, but spray it above them so the water falls on them, if they don’t like that too, try putting food ( like lettuce ) on a water bowl and let them get in by themselves, but be patient always.

I did the pros and cons of a cockatiel and a green cheek conure I also showed them how much a cage would cost how to make food for them foraging toys, training, bathing, all of that even behavior my mom still isn't very convinced but she said maybe around christmas because then my dad might be more considerate because he is a stone faced soldier (literally he's in the army) when it comes to getting new pets although let's be honest it did take me 3 years to get a pug so really, patience is key when it comes to animals do your research, see what will best fit your life style and wait and see

Keep doing good work girl. Some people out here are afraid to let us know about all the dangers involved in owning these little airplanes. My little cockatiel Lilith is coming along great. In just a few weeks she's gotten confident and loving and her poorly clipped wing feathers are growing back, she's gotten on a pellet diet today after seeing the vet for the first time. Just have to get her a decent cage and a harness now.
