@@Shawblade There is a difference between impersonating someone as a parody, like in an SNL sketch, and creating AI-generated content that accurately depicts a person with the intent to defame them and sway public opinion by presenting it as "real." In the latter case, you're using a representation of that person committing acts that harm their reputation by making them appear to say or do salacious or criminal things. This is a new issue, and most societies have yet to determine how to handle it. As technology evolves and becomes more accurate, the urgency to address this matter increases. We may need legal requirements to clearly label AI-generated content, ensuring audiences always understand what they are viewing. Let me pose this question: if someone used AI to depict you in a compromising way, making it undetectable to untrained eyes, and this portrayal led to public bullying, would that be considered parody? Could the bully argue that for their defense? What if you lost friends, relationships, money, jobs, or opportunities because of this? Or worse, what if you faced threats and attacks due to this representation? Elon is smart, he knew what he was doing, he is too ego driven to admit it.
