A fantastic interview with Mr. Rex and Ms Elizabeth. Love your Elvis trivia. They not only used ships from the U.S. Navy for troop deployment but used them for dependent families to go to Germany to join their service members there. I went to Germany three years after Elvis was there by a U. S. Navy ship. Looking forward to reading Mr. Rex and Elizabeth's book. God bless them. Nice to see Ms Lorie. Tighten up and bless you and Ms Lorie.

I want to say thank you for sharing so much with your audience. I watched one video pertaining to Elvis, and got hooked to your site watching what is next. You have really given me so much insight on Elvis and yearning for more. I have always been conflicted with him being alive or really did pass away. I heard you make comments in one of your videos of your thoughts of him not really being gone. Please keep doing what your doing, as you really keep everyone informed of Elvis and the many stories. Once again, thank you friend for all you do! :)

Thank you Sir. It is always a pleasure to find these notifications early in the morning, or any time for that matter. Thank you. He was a busy young man, so I can not be angry with Elvis in the least. If nothing else he spent his own money to hire staff to touch base with all of these fans which he did not have to do had he not have cared about his fans. I bet as time passed Elvis grew to love and respect these two people even more as so many people used him for monetary gain. Try if you want, but I doubt you could convince me that those that wrote books filled with negative things about Elvis actually cared anything about him as a person. It matters not to me how long they may have known him or worked for him those people were there for what they could get. I'm not talking about the two good people here of course as they choose to sperate from Elvis as their hearts would not allow them to make money off of Elvis once they understood that they had filled their obligation to help their true friend Elvis. That is real concern for his well being and their own peace of mind to not being guilty of taking advantage of Elvis after his Army days were behind him. God bless these two lovely people. Hope you are well Mr. Billy and thanks again for all you do for us.

Wow! This is amazing! Now, that's what you call true love❣ So, did Elvis date this lady, or maybe I should say...have "feelings" for her at one time? I was just wondering...because of him saying she wouldn't have had a chance with Elvis, after Priscilla came along. I just think this is great..the way they ran off...instead of staying with Elvis. Looks like they had a wonderful life together. They are such nice people! Did he die last year? Makes me sad that he's gone.....but, he is in a better place. He's with our Lord & Savior, now....no better place, ever. Thank you, Spa Guy! God bless you & your family 💙

Great video and story. I knew a man in Charles Town, WV. Back in the very early 80's. He owned a record store. He said he was in the army with Elvis. He had many pictures of Elvis. They had autographs on them of Elvis. (Supposed to be Elvis anyway)> The mans name was Lesley. I don't know if that was his first or last name. He said he worked in the dentist office. That's how he met Elvis. Does anyone know if that is true? Thanks for sharing the video. Great story. I will order the book.

This may be the greatest story of all. I think Elvis himself must love this story too. I really don’t think you can top this one Billy. I’ll be buying the book for sure. To think Rex could’ve had the Joe Esposito spot, makes me almost wish he did. Not to say anything bad about Esposito but Rex just seems to have a demeanor closer to Elvis’. There is something about a southern gentleman, that is just so genuine and Rex I can see is all that and more!! So I know it may have been personal to ask but did E have a thing for Elizabeth? I mean considering he said she was off limits...I think Dodger was the true gem here and I think Elvis must have took anything she said as gold....the fact she hooked them up says loads and I just love, love, love this story. I’ll be calling you because I know Elvis was in the Brooklyn Shipping Yards to catch that boat. Its such a different place now, but I feel it still looks the same. Now I really want to tighten up and make NYC one of your best! If even possible. Let’s also not forget to give Ashley ( which I know you do) a lot of credit here. I am starting to think she may be the real Starsky and you just may be Hutch. Hey did Hutch have a top 40 hit so not that bad of company to be in considering you sing so well. We’ll have to get you to sing his song one day. Don’t Give Up On Us was the song and I remember it well. This just inspired me to really get to work now and get all the pieces in place for NYC. Lord have mercy this truly is one of my favorite stories Billy. It is going to take a lot to out do this one. I mean nothing trumps LOVE!! My girls are in Florida for the next 3 weeks and I’m flying down for a week. I am trying to convince them to let’s spend a few days in Memphis for Elvis week. I really hope I can convince them! Unfortunately my girls don’t have the Elvis fever. My wife and oldest Kayla thinks he is drop dead gorgeous but my little one just doesn’t care at all. Lol. Well she is only 13 and who wants to like the music their father likes. This is why I feel I didn’t like Elvis as a kid either. My mom adored him and it wasn’t till later in life and after my mom’s passing that I saw ‘This Is Elvis’ and man oh man did I get it....I haven’t looked back since. TCB⚡️ Ps. I really need to tighten up on this and seeing this video today just inspires me that much more to get to work. Great work Billy. This one is going to be hard to beat.

Billy, i just watched this video and started looking for his book to buy. I saw your links. I found rex and elizabeth wrote books before the book you're promoting. Is this true or is the book in this video their only book? I also found rex's obituary. He is in heaven now. I am glad you got to talk to them both just in time. The publishing date for this video was just before he died. When did you record this video? I was in pigeon forge before he died. I wish i would have known of him. Course they probably wouldn't talk to every elvis fan. they would never get peace, but still would have been cool to talk to him or Elisabeth. Guess I'll just have to buy the book right. Did you ever put their other videos on the channel? Rex passed soon after elvis week. do you have video of them there? Thanks.
@SpaGuy4 жыл бұрын
Rex and Elisabeth did do the Elvis week event on the 12th and Rex passed about 2 weeks later.. I stay in touch with Elisabeth.. There was a first book Sergeant Presley which was mainly about Elvis the new book is about their life of 58 years together including Elvis but not only focused on that part.. it is interesting how everybody ran to Elvis for fame and money and they ran away for Love.. the book is on my site bstallings.com I have not released all of the footage I shot on their stories but will and I was unable to film at the EPE even they would not allow it.. Thanks, Spa Guy

Spa Guy, I have a question about Rex Mansfield. In that picture of him with Elvis as a buck sergeant, Rex is wearing the stripes of a staff sergeant, one grade above Elvis, plus he has two service stripes, indicating a minimum of six years service, three years for each stripe. How is that possible if he and Elvis were inducted at the same time in 1958? Two service stripes would indicate service to at least 1964 up to 1967, and which time a third service stripe would have been added. Thank you in advance for your response!
@SpaGuy6 жыл бұрын
Phillip good eye.. Rex was promoted to Sergeant before Elvis after only 1 1/2 years of service not sure why but Elvis told everyone that it was because of him.. If you notice the picture off Elvis and Rex in front of the tankers Elvis is not smiling because he didn't like that Rex got it before him.. They wanted to promote Rex and then soon promote Elvis to show there was no favoritism.. That is in the book by the way..
@drphil19496 жыл бұрын
Spa Guy Thank you for your reply but the two service stripes, indicating a minimum of six years of service, is still a mystery, and so is Rex’s rank of staff sergeant.
