Thank you both for getting together and making these videos! Much love, respect and prayers for both Billy’s and your families. I’m sorry for the deep losses in your life. Unfortunately I’m no stranger to tragic untimely death of close loved ones and it’s a tragedy and tougher to deal with under extreme circumstances. Not to mention, not being able to grieve in peace for various reasons. Even more so when everyone wants a piece of your loved one and tries to insinuate themselves into something they don’t understand. You’re a survivor and are a part of the history of an American icon, plus you have your own identity, family and legacy, so you’re double blessed:) Alive to tell and share your important place in life. Thank you and God bless!

When Elvis passed away. I was 13 and I became very sad. Even do I hardly knew him as a singer. I am originally from El Salvador and it was big news for at least a year. I can not imagine how you as his brother felt. I am glad that you overcame your troubles. I followed you Elvis' histories on Facebook. Many blessings for you and your family.

People shouldn’t be judgement. Walk a mile in there shoes. So in saying that leave the Stanley brothers alone. All they did was grow up from small children around elvis. If it wasn’t for there stories which they have been kind enough to share with us elvis fans we would no what it was like being around him through the years. God bless you billy Stanley for sharing your stories I love them. And I wish you nothing but the best.

I met Billy thru a mutual friend in 1982 in Texas. He was still grieving. I didn’t even realize the depth of it but I know he was hurting and shared stories with us. He was so nice we all knew. Other friends of mine from that time remember how nice he was too and we all remember Billy’s Southern accent and especially the mutual friend named who was an equipment manager and drove sn 18-wheeler then did AV set-up for Elvis and his band. We remember that Elvis’ passing was very devastating for this driver/equipment manager. I’m just so happy to see how well things have turned out for Billy. Thanks for heeding Jesus’ call on your life, Billy. God is very pleased and we all see and know Elvis loved you so much and has always been and still is very proud of you. Especially, Jesus must be so. Very. Proud. Most.

That was a fast 15 minutes. I didn't want it to stop. I was right there in the car! Listening! Riveted to every word. Funny thing is, I too remember that afternoon in August 1977. Where I was, what I was doing, who told me, how.... my shock. And I was a fan of Elvis, but nothing like I would become. It was about two and a half weeks before my 16th birthday. Vivid memories. Thanks Billy for sharing!

@@SpaGuy This is the 1st. I've heard of these three brothers. I can only guess at why they might get treated unfairly, but any reason seems very petty. Was it because their last name wasn't Presley and they're jealous...or...? Seems to me Elvis was the lucky one to have them in the fam.

Wow, "Spa guy" your just amazing, you have such great talent interviewing people. I absolutely love your work. thank you for everything you do. And Billy, my heart aches for you, the both of us were brought up with similar cases of not having a father, i could see your pain, it was real. Billy I can't imagine your loss, of your brother on that terrible day 8-16-77. I was 12. that date would change you forever. What happened to you had to be extremely traumatizing. and then in the 1980s you were able to overcome your addictions, another difficult hurdle It is so obvious, you're a good fine human being. Elvis would be very proud of you now, and he truly loved you. Thank you for having the courage to tell us your story, you are a strong-minded individual. You have our support. Don't ever think of yourself as being any less of a human being. Thank you Billy, Your a good man. May God bless you, and your family.

Must be hard to go back in time and relive such a tragic moment. Yet, so fortunate that he and his brothers lived a life that the rest of us could only dream of. Elvis accepted them and gave them the love that they never had from their real father. I'm sure his life was turned upside down after Elvis died. It must not have been easy for him to adjust and accept that Elvis was gone. Yet, what a fascinating life to recall all the great and fascinating things they got to see and do with Elvis! Thank you Spa Guy for getting Billy to open up and talk to us about his memories with Elvis. This has been a wonderful video and I just wish you bring us more!

What a great interview. That part where Billy talks about asking Elvis if he was more famous than Mickey Mouse was so cute. My great granddaughter thinks Mickey is the bomb. So I got a kick out of that part. Then when he takled about the day Elvis passed, I had to shed a tear for him. I'm thankful he got his life back together. I admit, I have not heard much about Elvis' step brothers. I look forward to part 3. Thank you Spa Guy for all you do. God bless you.

People can talk and speculate but we just dont know what happens in people's lives. No one has the right to judge another person. People are human beings and we all make mistakes. I always say before you judge someone's mistake. Ask yourself have you made any yourself and do you want to be judged? At the end of the day. We are all human beings. He seems like a very nice person who loved his brother dearly.

emotional...... At the start of the video you spoke again and the negative comments and what not. It amazes me that any fan of Elvis could have any negative thought when it comes to his family. People just don't understand that Elvis was Human and not the same man they had seen in his movies and concerts. It's a blurred line that people refuse to understand. Anyway, another great video. Your channel is booming. Now you are on the inside looking out instead of the outside looking in.

Another great addition for the files!! I absolutely LOVE seeing the most obscure Elvis-related sites possible, and Billy has a memory of just about everywhere in Memphis. Brings back memories seeing the old Graceland Elementary school location, the airport, streets we've come to know so well, etc. Thanks for bringing this to those who can't be there on a regular basis. This series also introduces people to Billy and kind of "humanizes" him. It's as you stated early in the video. For so long, the Stanleys seemed like characters in a movie because we rarely saw them in a relaxed, casual atmosphere like this. He comes across as a genuinely cool person. THANKS, SPA GUY!!

Thanks Spa Guy for filming Mr. Billy Stanley telling you his life stories while growing up with Elvis. I believe that he loved Elvis very much and suffered a terrible shock when hearing of Elvis's death. I enjoyed seeing the places they spent time together and just had some fun times together. I'm sure it was a terrible loss for the whole family. One thing I didn't understand is why Vernon moved in to live with Sandy Miller to start with. Or maybe I miss understood. I thought that Elvis was close with her, at one time. I can understand tho, that Dee, would have a difficult time with that. I hope what I've said is ok, I really appreciate all the hard work you do to provide these wonderful stories about Elvis and his family . I surely remember the day of his passing. I heard it on the radio and I was not sure at first if I heard it correctly, but then it was repeated and I just stood in shock . It was devastating for me , I could only imagine the pain his brothers felt and Lisa Marie. Just a sad time for all of the family and true fans. Well, I am looking forward to part 3 of the story.
