For you not being in this generation and being so engaged in detail on Elvis information it's amazing how he impacted you. That to me I am not surprised but appreciative that he could reach so far into the souls of different Generations that's what is different about him. The amount of people that he impacted like that. And I'm sure that other movie stars have been able to do so but not with a high High percentage like this!

From the mid 60's through the 90's, I lived in Los Feliz estates on Winona Blvd at the top of the hill north of Los Feliz which is located just below the observatory. As a youngster we - (friends and I) would oft times ride our bicycles up the Ferndell trail through Barnsdall park to the various trails which led to Sunset Stables, Mount Lee, Mount Hollywood, (the peak directly behind the Observatory) and the Observatory proper. The home pointed out in the beginning of the video belonged to Ron Stanhope (an insurance executive) whose daughter (Cecelia) I was dating back in 75-76. The severed pipe/pole you showed was one of many which were actually incandescent light poles providing night time illumination, back in-the-day. Also, of interest is the snack bar area which was directly to your right (west) in the opening shot as you're walking through the parking lot. It's famous for the scene where Arnold Schwarzenegger (as the Terminator) 'liberated' the leather jacket from one of the unlucky thugs. Of course, 'Brush Canyon' aka. Bronson caves (Batcave) is just a stone's toss away up Bronson/Canyon. - Thank you for the effort you put into bringing Elvis' life and times into focus. Well done, sir.

Another great film chaps! I love it when you take us on a trip Spa Guy. In one of the cast pics you used was the actor who played Dummy in the gang in King Creole. There was an interview with him for an English Elvis mag from the early 90s and he said he wore the same leather jacket for both films but it was ruined when it or he went into the water at the end of King Creole. Thankyou as always, Mike, UK.

Hi my friend Spa Guy. I am so excited to see this video as I have been to the Observatory in 2002 when I visited the U.S.A. for the first time after which I flew to Memphis to see Graceland. We visited the Observatory at night and it was beautiful looking out at the city. Have a few photos of the lights all around and the Hollywood sign. Also visited the Rebel without a Cause Monument and took pictures. Did not see the spot where the movie was filmed. Little did I know Elvis was there. Next time for sure. However thought I would let you know that the movie Queen of the Damned was shot there too. It starred Aaliyah, a singer and actress, who died in a plane crash before the movie was released. So sad. Anyway thanks to Trey and to You for bringing back some beautiful memories ❤️🙏🏼Of course❤️🕺🏻

I went to Griffith in 85 as a young boy. Didnt know who Dean (or Elvis) was than. Now of course I do. Will have to visit Griffith again next time im in Lower Alabama. Wasnt King Creole written for Dean to be the lead actor but than reworked to fit Elvis? Ive read that somewhere. Uranus--makes me recall the Uranus sculpture you filmed and mentioned in a Bad Nauheim video--across from park of Elvis' hotel. I saw that when I was there in 2018.
