This gospel song is very important to me. Why? At June 5 2025 it is for me exactly 50 years ago that I met Elvis in Dallas as a young boy of 9 years, and believe me it was still ELVIS, THE MAN, THE GOAT, THE KING; so when he entered the room I said to him "Mister the king" and immediately Elvis replied "young man I'm not the King only Jesus Christ is the King" and there was a piano in the room on which Elvis went to sit and he played and sang "if you get discouraged just remember what to do, reach out to Jesus, come on reach out to Jesus, I said reach out to Jesus, He's reaching out to you", and everybody in the room said AMEN. This was for me the first time I heard about Jesus like that and it was for me the start to become a christian. RIP ELVIS, I NEVER FORGET YOU AND I MISS YOU ENDLESSLY MUCH!!!
