@@Wildlife_SA. of course I knew who Elvis was but I never watched him perform. After seeing the Elvis movie, I wanted to check out the real elvis live. This song, the performance was literally one of the best I've ever seen. He doesn't dance but the way he moves, I can't explain it but I'm sure everyone agrees there's just something about it. I was in primary school still remember ember the day we heard he died, my mom cried, she loved Elvis, still remember where I was when Princess Diana died. This is another amaze ballz performance, though not written by him, to me I always thought this song was about him and Priscilla but it’s not, I love how he has fun on stage a true performer, reason he’s the King of Rock n Roll, Music gave us Queen, gave us a Prince and a Madonna but there will always be only one true King. Some say he’s still alive in Florida somewhere, but real Kings never die, he lives on in the music, why the Stars belong in the heavens.🤙

I never met Elvis but as a young teen I met his Stepbrother David Stanley when he visited out church, afterwards came to our house and have dinner with us, and I remember him telling my dad that Elvis' first love was Gospel music and that they would stay up for hours singing after a show, later JD Sumner, whom my Father became friends who said the same thing. JD was the Bass sing for the Stamps Quartet that also sang backup for Elvis, (a very interesting man himself ). Look him up. He (JD Sumner) the Gentleman standing next to Elvis in the first link I'm posting in the link.kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZeZaaaKeb5_o6s kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6HFZX1spZxom9k The second link is the complete audio section of the first link, just them standing around singing and goofing off. I didn't find the complete video.

This was Elvis returning to the stage to do what he was meant to do. After ten years away from live performing he came back to open in Las Vegas. He was well received and appreciated by his fans who loved him during his initial run of glory in the 5o's. He gave us a mature performer with new songs and broadened his already enormous appeal. He loved his fans. And we loved him. Until the end. R.I.P. Elvis. You are still loved.

Yep my sheer enjoyment is how he controls that huge band. People think he's making these freaky moves only for the audience but actually it's both. He loves to toy with the tempo. I'll never forget the day he passed. My mom got the news and I saw her almost collapse. She kept crying and was sullen for at least a week. I didn't understand then but I have since. It's nice seeing new generations find him appealing. As a man, this is dangerous to say in my day, but I thought he was the most gorgeous man I've ever seen. Everything about him is pure sex. Don't forget what he did in the beginning though. He completely change music history. what I would like you to review is "If I can dream" on his '68 special. Critics applauded his emotional grip on the song. He was deeply distraught over the horror of the sixties assassinations. It's indeed a powerful performance.

Are you from Latvia? What a beautiful place? You have storks??? Let me say I’ve just recently come across all these professional voice coaches and various judges reviewing Elvis for the first time. My dad made me a deal when I was 10 years old that I could either go to bed on my regular bedtime or I could stay up late and watch the re-broadcast of Aloha from Hawaii. This would have been about 12 years after his death. About 16-17 years after the performance. I wasn’t even alive at the same time as Elvis but of course I agreed to stay up late on a school night. You hit the nail on the head. Without denying the obvious sexual power in the performance you were clearly awestruck by the thing that a 10 year old child could see. The fact that this was just fun. He took a sad tragic song and made it fun as hell!!! He can’t stop smiling. He knows how people who are seeing this for the first time are reacting. He knows how girls seeing it for the first or 50th times are reacting. Even Priscilla understood this unique love affair that was taking place between Elvis and every man woman boy and girl, at whatever level you met Elvis at. If you were a woman who made eye contact with him he met you at that level. If you were a child in awe at this living god walking and dancing across the stage or anyone mesmerized by his charisma and voice, he met you there. And he enjoyed every drop of it. I’ve watched dozens of reviews of this same performance as well as a few other great performances but I haven’t commented on any others. You had the one thing all the others lacked. Others picked up on the depth of spirituality which was evident. The sexuality at a dang spiritual level that would have set the Pope’s head on fire is commented on often. Watching you enjoy the performance captures the essence of what I believe elvis was all about. He understood suffering and poverty. He knew the impact of being uplifted, happy, and the power of music to connect all people from all levels in harmony like in the Pentecostal churches he grew up in. Except he saw god as the spirit within every man. And for that one hour he gave himself to raising the “joy” factor a hundred fold. He knew how to exhilarate his fans including every straight man and little child. The guy was just fun!!! What an inspiration to all of us to pursue the things that make us happy and spread the joy around.
