That one moves he moves as fast as a jackhammer. It’s truly amazing. His moves and yet he never loses his voice. You’re absolutely correct, there never has been anyone close to him. He truly loved what he did through it all. He was plain tuckered out by the end of his life. He was doing concerts continuously. Think of how people do concerts today. They prep and go out every certain amount of years, whereas he was doing it all the time with physical ailments and taking meds to keep himself going and to feel better. All for us to enjoy his talents. What a very special man he was. That’s why there will never be anyone like him. 😊🎸🕺🏻🎤🌹🌹🌹😳😳👏👏👏

I also love watching when Elvis looks back at Ronnie Tutt, who is just absolutely totally going off on the drums, and then they kind of egg each other on to get more and more aggressive and frenetic.

He died on my 10th birthday 16 of august 1977. One year before I got my first music record. And guess what...it was an Elvis album. Loved him forever since then.❤❤

I grew up in the Elvis era in the 1960's with his movies his music My uncles were big fans had all the latest LPS and impersonators My one uncle sang as Elvis in a band then in My teens I finally Saw Elvis in concert in Milwaukee 1974

They cut the best part of this out. Elvis and i were friends for 10 years up until his death were both needed a friend and we were that for each other i cry for him all the time i just miss him so very much. i have so many beautiful memories of Elvis tucked away safe in my heart. I spoke to him not long before his death it was very hard on the both of us we were both sobbing he said kiddo everything will be ok but we both knew it was far from ok Elvis knew he screwed up and he owned all of it never blamed anyone for his condition but i sure as hell did the gutless wonder Tom Parker didn't care about Elvis he was a means to an end money was Tom's God. His death knocked the wind out of me the funeral omg it broke me guess i need to stop ranting about Parker because it anger's me. Awesome reaction. love to you and your family from the one and the only Memphis Tn. #forevermyking.

One of my favorite Elvis songs too. I like when he said funny things while performing. There's a video of him performing this song (I think Hawaii 1973) when he does the stretches and sings "I hope this suit don't tear up, baby!" LOL.

Only #3? This is actually the original version, the part that says "Property of Turner Ent." was replaced with a clip filmed the night before, where he caught the back up singer by surprise, her reaction then was better.

Ah yes! I’ve seen that version and in the ‘That’s the Way it is’ movie. I’d rewatched that after I did this and was sad I didn’t find it before to use. It was so good! P.S. In my ‘top’ 3. They all have some great memories attached to them, so the order changes all the time dependent on how I’m feeling on the day 😉

Hello - new subscriber w-a suggestion of 1972 Elvis at Hampton Roads, Virginia -- there was a slight mix-up w-his song on the following video -- at the very start of the video Elvis called out “Please Release Me” but the band began playing “I Can’t Stop Loving You” - he didn’t stop them, he just eased right into the song; he then walked over to his glass of water, picked it up & playfully threw it at Glen @ piano; just make sure to catch that very beginning so it will make sense -- go to kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6uvfHV9bMybfKc -- this is Elvis 2 yrs. later w-a slightly deeper, richer voice & his performance is energetic & powerful. I just wonder why you have this version w-Turner as part of it. Turner’s quality is quite poor on 99% of everything Elvis - all you really need is the full version from this 1970 performance - go to kzbin.info/www/bejne/imLKZqeMfL-bnM0 -Turner is not at all necessary.
