I LOVE that you don't put your kids on social media! I really, really don't like how normal it is to just put your child on the internet without their consent.

I’m doing the best I can as I learn! I used to post them online when my social media was simply just my friends and family who saw my content. But as my platform grew, suddenly I became aware of how wide and far content can go once it’s posted. It’s pretty scary when you know the ins and outs of how content travels online.

I have stopped following a lot of accounts where the kids are shown. I love following parenting accounts, but I can't support parents using their children the way many do. I actually learned all about it when you announced you weren't showing your kids anymore awhile back. I think people are just realizing what damage it can cause our kids to give them a large internet footprint before they can even understand and consent to it. My 11 year old daughter wants to make YT videos and it was a hard no, she just doesn't understand yet. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

Gives me more hope that there are good parents (mom & dads) out there who are protecting their kids from online footprints and inappropriate exposure to certain aspects of internet/social media. All I ever see are these terrible parents/family channels that exploit their families/children/relationship for a quick buck/cash grab.

As a Starbucks barista, I will say, you can’t get cold brew as decaf. so the only way that we can make that drink decaf and as similar as possible is to make a decaf iced Americano. We would still be able to add the syrup and the foam on top! Hope this helps!

It's super cool to see someone else cleaning like I do, needing a tv show on and making "cleaning piles" in bags. I feel like it takes years before I go through them. Sometimes they go in closets. Sometimes they just become Mount Stuffalus. And consequently when I do get to them it creates even more "wow i didn't know i had that" side quests. I'm such a failure at cleaning, and it creates a lot of problems, but this video warms my heart for showing a true adhd experience and is probably my favorite one of yours.

I LOVE your stance on not including your children in your content 🤍 you're leaving the decision to be present on social media/the internet up to them instead of making that decision for them, before they're even able to. I applaud you for that!!

There were SO MANY moments that I went to like the video because it was too relatable and then I’d realize I’d already liked it. I need to be able to like it multiple times!! lol

I made myself clean while you were cleaning and the side quest thing is SO REAL. I love finding old things I forgot about (object permanence? Who’s that?). It’s my favorite part of cleaning 😅

Yes I have to say this is very relatable I once made a Mindmap of all the things that impact me out of Post-its that I cut in circles After I was done I wanted to clean but instead I was mesmerized by how the cutoffs looked and thought "I can make a craft out of these snippets" So I then started sketching and creating the background layers. Only to make more paper snippets that I then made a separate craft for... In the end I did clean the cutoffs and made a pretty craft with them but it took 5h 😅

As a parent myself, I don’t trust content creator parents that put their kids online. Even if it’s not in a gross, perverse way, it’s still taking advantage of kids. Plus, like you said, kids deserve to be kids when they are kids!

YES! I love that you are giving your children the privacy they deserve. Good for you! They can make a choice when they are able if they want to be in the public eye.

I like that my brain can follow your brain and actually pay attention the whole time and I don’t try to nor am I able to predict the endings. It’s like the best kind of conversation. Next time I’m back in Omaha I really want coffee with Elyse. 🤣

As someone who drinks almost exclusively decaf I would like to weigh in haha when the cold brew cold foam drinks first came out, I was bummed I couldn't get it (too much caffeine). But the barista suggested that the dupe for the cold foam cold brew was an iced americano with the cold foam/other add ins because the espresso can be decaf, but the cold brew cannot. Hopefully this helps add context! I think it was just worded strangely.

The loading bar when you did the classic ADHD running in all directions because you didn't know what you wanted to do next. 😂Also, I would've 100% succumbed to watching the show or organizing beads. PS: That crochet bag is really cute, you should finish it.
