Reacting with shock or disgust at an anorexic's bones is *always* taken as a compliment. Beware of that. Best comment is none at all.

I really think she liked her dad telling her that her collar bone was disgusting. The more hey went on about it the more she kept showing it and looking at it. She did the same thing with her arm in the Christmas vlog. Please consider some outpatient treatment, you really need to work on the mental aspects of your ED not just simply eating more.

I understand that people who haven’t been through certain things wouldn’t get why her family talks to her in a certain way, however when you are in self destruction (which I have been) you need people to tell you, especially your loved ones as they genuinely mean no harm and simply want the best for you, it’s destructing for them too, watching their daughter/sister harm themselves, I fully understand how she feels when she says she grateful they say it how it is, you don’t see what you’re doing to yourself and it only motivates you to make them proud and most of all get healthy again! Very proud of you Elzani, so excited to see what 2019 has to hold for you x

I understand how some people might think your dad is rude but tbh I thought it was kinda nice that your family was honest with you. How sad and wrong would it be for your appearance to be taboo ? It's important for you know that you look sick. If anything it'll motivate you to recover and your dad must know that.

Telling a recovering anorexic that they look sick does, yes, encourage the disease, in some cases. But you aren't even supposed to comment on their appearance AT ALL! It's so rude to say she looks "disgusting" and he knows that. It is not helpful in any way. My entire treatment team told my family not to comment on my body at all.

that is so true...i cant justify talking to her like that. She's sick and there's no need to point out the obvious and hurt her feelings. I think it would be really helpful for you to be on some sort of meal plan (Minnie Maud?) Especially as you struggle with thinking everything is too much and everyone seems to always be saying you don't eat. You've got to be eating enormous amounts during recovery (as I'm sure you know) and you seem to not even be eating as much as any of your family members, none of whom need to recover from an eating disorder. Of course, I have no insight into what you eat day-to-day but these are just my thoughts from watching your videos.

That 11:00 thing had to be said by your family tbh, hope you dont get offended. You got used to your body being so skinny that you forget how your body should be looking. Im skinny too and it kind of surprises me when my sister says something about my shoulders and collarbone or my legs as if it isnt alright. But then i see what she means later and makes me wanna gain weight! Lol. I hope u also celebrate your 10k subs with a feast!!!!!

squishy booty I wasn’t offended, and that is true. My dad hates it because I can’t remember how I used to be and I used to be a swimmer and run and I was strong so it breaks his heart
