I 100% agree with Karl about a machine that makes doctors feel patients symptoms but for a totally different reason. It's actually something I've wished existed since I was a kid. It could be used for medical professionals who don't believe in invisible illnesses and/or believe they're psychological. Put them in the machine, let them feel what people like me, Ren and millions of others are dealing with for just 5 minutes and we will stop all the torture of "it's psychological", "you're a liar"!

That must be one of the most awful experiences with the medical profession, not being believed. Not only do you have to suffer the pain and other symptoms, but the very people who are supposed to be helping you are being arseholes to you at the same time, insinuating that you're making it all up. Thankfully, it's not happened to me, but it makes me angry just thinking about it.

Wow! Daniel isn't wearing a hat! Lol I agree with you about having aches and pains, etc. I haven't felt good since I had my first kid. I was 24, had two more, and now I weigh 100 pounds more than before I had kids. It totally messed up my metabolism. No matter what I do, even with my doctor's help, I only can lose 20-25 pounds. I just go up and down those same 25 pounds. It's been that way for 3 years now. Having kids wrecked my body. The kids are great, but it's incredibly aging. Lol

I'd like to respectfully disagree here. I grew up with things running under live programs ie whats coming up next etc. N' also the Advertiser gets a 40 minute segment instead of a 20-30s talk. So in turn, the lads can conentrate on reacting to the video & the advertiser is happy with a nice lengthy advertise. It's a good idea imo. Love from the UK!

Here's one of the things they just ignore to make Karl look sillier than he is for entertainment: Tutankhamun was embalmed with a fresh leg injury which experts say likely would have been his demise due to infection and/or lacking medical practices at the time. They did make themselves look daft there!

There are several examples like that from the show... But because Karl said it, it's automatically dismissed or ridiculed. I actually think that's one area where it does start to stray into bullying territory a bit. I mean, I'm sure they do genuinely regard Karl as a mate, but at the same time it's clear they don't have much respect for him.

@@bluesrocker91 It gets close to bullying some times I guess. I'd recommend watching "Living with Ricky Gervais" for some context though. It should still be on YT. What Ricky is like off stage. His "ticks" and what he's like when he's not pulling it together to do a radio show/podcast. It's not with Karl but another of his oldest friends Robin Ince. Some of it with Merchant as well, but he never really put with the pranks and stuff so he was kind of let off all the "wrong love" as Ricky calls it. Getting mad at Ricky for laughing at something I say (Or Karl says) is like getting mad at someone with Tourette syndrome for calling me unspeakable things. It's a lot easier to understand how Karl just goes silent when Ricky does his laugh and goes on a rant if you've seen that clip.

10:26 About COVID and who's affected by it: I live in a small community and there are stoners there that I may or may not know or be one of. Since none of them had real jobs the stoners were safe for the first couple of years despite passing the funny cigs around and sharing other methods of delivery daily. Then one of them got a job at a grocery store and within a week everybody was sick (Nobody died). Maybe that was just the inevitable finally happening, of course people are gonna spread it if everybody putting their lips on the same cig, but I don't think that's the whole story. It's all about staying isolated as a group more than how much immunity you've built. I bet that was the same situation with that little community of meth heads. They generally stayed away from people outside their own "community", and outsiders certainly keep a healthy distance from them if they could help it, and as such they never risked infection from people who travelled and had to deal with the world every day.
