◼︎In this video, I finally got to see my third wonder of the world: the Great Wall of China. This incredible experience wouldn't have been possible without my amazing friend, Gia. Navigating this trip would have been a challenge without her guidance.
Our adventure began in the city's heart, where we boarded a bus to the Badaling section of the wall. The journey itself was filled with anticipation and excitement. Upon arriving, we took a cable car up, giving us a bird's-eye view of the wall's stunning landscape. The views were breathtaking, stretching as far as the eye could see.
We spent the day exploring the ancient stone pathways, marveling at the engineering feat that has stood the test of time. Walking along the wall, I felt a profound sense of history and wonder, imagining the countless stories in its stones.

Mate, there is a quicker way to get to Badaling Wall. Take an early train from Beijing North (55 minutes ride) or Qinghe Station to Badaling itself, exit of station is just 400 metres from cable car entrance....cheap, quick and hassle free. Only need to wake up early.
