That's what service is all about. I know some guys in our trade would probably tell the homeowner to clean that ivy and call me back when it's done. You went above and beyond what some others would do, I did commercial work for 35 yrs. Sometimes a freezer or cooler would go down and the product would have to be removed. A few guys refused to do anything unless some store employee would move it. For God's sake some companies run bare bone staff. Myself and 2 other techs would move the product... it's called customer service!...nice job you are a example of what our trade should be

Yo. Love the videos. Keep em coming. A little tip that may help with those wasp/ants. Get a good spray bottle, looks like you had one beside the basket in your truck, put a few squirts of dish detergent in it and fill the rest of the spray bottle with water. Saturate the wasp /ants with it. They breathe through their skin, so when that soap hits them, they suffocate almost instantly. It may allow you to not have to go to war with them and get through your job. Keeping a bottle of dish soap in the truck may not be a bad idea. It's just as effective as the wasp spray and way cheaper since the home owner probably has some on hand. Just a quick remedy to get you out of a pinch and allow you to finish the job, potentially unscathed. Your clients may even allow you to have a few squirts of their dish soap when you're in a pinch.

Yessiree...going to need to have a case of wasp spray on hand for the summer jobs. While you are at the store, grab a pair of "Pruning Shears" for jobs with this kind of overgrowth. Maybe even one of those small flexible metal rakes to clear around those condensers that are full of leaves, pine needles and so forth so you can perform your coil cleaning jobs 100%. It'll be worth an hour of labor to have them for those jobs needing it...all part of the job. Best part is...all it ended up being was a capacitor and you had the one the needed and got it replaced correctly/professionally. New customer for sure...they are thrilled.

Condenser had a ghillie suit on, was kneeling at condenser once and heard a buzzing should coming at me and like a brute I kept looking a a wasp coming at me and did nothing and BAM right between the eyes, when I woke up the day later I looked like the elephant man.

I got a question just with the epa certification I can get a job right but I’m currently in trade program and the instructor tryna make me get a diploma I don’t need one to do hvac right just the epa certification card

You should just need an EPA. Check with your state for requirements. Some states like Texas require a technician certificate
