As a German, I recognize the type. Please dear Americans don’t go that road. Look at our history. If you do, your country will be end up in shatters also. Yet it also feels as a bit as redemption. I grew up in the 60s, looked around to the caring and loving older people, could never understand how it was possible that they obviously must have fallen for a madman too. When I saw old clips of Hitler, I saw a ranting and raving madman. Worse was, that nobody would answer my burning questions. All older people would dodge them with platitudes. But now, looking at America, I see now clearly that the root cause is not something obscure and mysterious that are in the German genes that made us especially prone to war and violence, as was the narrative at that time. Germans fell pray to a dangerous malignant narcissistic sociopath, just as Americans do today. It is very painful to see now the people that brought sanity back to my country to have a mass psychosis and being on the edge of the abyss themselves.

The test he took is called the “MOCA” test which is a preliminary screening tool. The test he needs to truly diagnose mental disorders requires a full day of testing in mathematics, cognition, and temperament, including level of intelligence, among other personality disorders. Also, the MOCA screen would never contain the words Man, woman, person, camera, tv, would never be used in the screening test because they are relatable words. So, that was a lie. I was a nurse for 25 years and worked in an Alzheimers and dementia. trump clearly has frontotemporal decline. It will only get worse over time. Donald has been found to be unfit for any job let alone the president of the United States of America according to Dr. Bandi Lee.

The main lie he tells about the MOCA is that it's some kind of intelligence test. It is not. It is a screening for dementia. By getting a score above the cut-off it just suggests the subject is not showing much in the way of signs of onset of dementia. In fact the screening is deliberately EASY in order to pick up subtle signs of slippage. It's a rather easy test on purpose. Probably a 5th or 6th grader could get a passing score. In addition, no competent administrator would fawn over the subject and say "Wow! That's amazing! No one ever gets those words right!" It's such a BS description by Trump.

You're the dimwit. The first version came out on 2017 along with a conference at Yale which is on KZbin. The expanded 2nd edition came out in 2019 and another expanded 3rd edition is coming out. She's written at least 3 other books on the topic and has been tirelessly presenting her findings on KZbin and on many podcasts. This was genuinely the most viscerally disturbing statement I have ever seen a living person in power make. He is a cartoonishly textbook abuser speaking exactly like predatory abusers are reported to speak (I have appreciated Don Hennessy’s work on IPV and his term of “psychephile” to describe this kind of dangerous person). It would be very helpful to hear your professional breakdown of this. Remember that famous quote from the movie The Sixth Sense, 'I see dead people'? The way Trump keeps talking about people who have passed on, like John McCain and others, as if they’re still part of his narrative, reminds me of that. He’s brought up dead figures at his rallies-sometimes praising, sometimes attacking-when they can no longer respond. This should’ve been the biggest clue of all. There’s even a book written about Trump’s mental capacity and how he poses a threat. This is my response to those still supporting him: Pay attention to the signs, just like in the movie. Sometimes the truth is right in front of us.
