Except the cartoons explained that black noir was at that chuck e. Cheese style restaurant when he first manifested his powers injuring a kid and hiding in the ball pit. That's where the cartoon characters come from.

Totally!! It's great to see the perspective of the kids that were dosed with V and don't have a goal to destroy/kill the top people at Vaught. Not to mention the payoff of the things they can't take the time to explain on The Boys due to time constraints and still move the story along.

How much more could they do though? Before it becomes a copy and paste of other superheroes The only good thing with the boys, is the fact that it realistically shows how these supes are just human with powers, so they're just as twisted as normal people, unlike the avengers that's the only thing Other than that, all the powers and characters are not original at all, just slightly modified Even that golden boy, he really was a version of human torch 😅 But that's every superheroes content tbh

First 3 episodes of Gen V were awesome, visceral and bloody. Also, smiled when Emma was getting along with Sam, and he was crushing on her. He treated her so much nicer than the rest of those aholes. Glad this is good and we got it, scratches the boys itch for now, sad though next week is season finale of Ahsoka though. Damn, I need episode 4!

What I enjoy about the theme regarding basing your life around branding is that it's very modern. People are so hardcore into being online famous and profiting from their brand these days that it's actually very dystopian. What's happening in the show is literally real life at this point, just not happening up front, but behind the scenes.

hey so i’ve spotted something, not huge but i think it’s worth mentioning… during the first episode, the dean of the school, indira shetty, mentions that some of the students that have gone to the crimson countess school of performance arts, have gone on to appear in tv shows like riverdale and pretty little liars. of course, the main two characters from the show, marie moreau and andre anderson, are played by jaz sinclair and chance perdomo, who both played rosalind walker and ambrose spellman, from the chilling adventures of sabrina! the universe/timeline of riverdale is the same as the chilling adventures of sabrina… sabrina even had a cameo in an episode of riverdale to confirm this, the towns of greendale and riverdale are close to one another… i just think this is quite a nice easter egg or ‘deep cut’ if you will…

Her blood power is an INSTANT KO on anyone, Homelander included, that has blood w/o exception. Anything else at that point your just counting on collective ignorance as plot armor. That power beats anyone who doesnt have a TK type defense. If you can get punched then you dont have any defense. Youd need to catch her at superspeed and you still might die. If she creates a barrier that repels blood, then its all long distance fighting from there bc shes invincible up close. She could nullify any healing ability including Wolverines. The only reason that power is not portrayed as deadly as it is is strictly collective ignorance bc its easily one of the most OP abilities you can get.

Marie is a nice character to be the "main" but i gotta say Emma stole the show for me. If i were in that universe i would protect that girl with everything i've got. She is too nice to be surrounded by selfish assholes.

@@emmanuellaedah8423 you're not saying that because she has a short version of your name are you, just I kidding she's also one of my favorite main characters other than Jordan Li and Cate Dunlap who would be quite helpful with Starlight on The Boys Season 4. I can also see them all leaving Godolkin University after rescuing Sam from "The Woods" to join the boys during the season finale because they want to learn how to help save normal people as Voughn supes rather than obey Godolkin University's strict rules and regulations not to save normal people with their permanent Compound-V given super human powers. Billy Butcher will be his usual cussing self when he meets these young supes from God U, specially when he learns that Cate can control anyone's minds just by touching them with her bare hands and maybe she could be useful to him if she could control Soldier Boy's mind to kill his only son, Homelander and himself 🤷‍♂️...
