Hi everyone,
This video is a full guide for the Situational Judgement subtest on the UCAT! I know this subtest can often feel a lot less clear cut when compared to the other subtests, but I hope that this video can help you all watching out.

Emil, how do you distinguish between when direct confrontation solves or escalates a problem presented in the UCAT. for example when is it appropriate to speak to the person causing the issue and when is it a better idea to bring it up with the educational supervisor or someone of a higher position. I frequently get these wrong lol

It's definitely very hard, but usually it depends on the severity of the offence. If it's really bad - drug taking, breaching confidentiality, racist comment - its usually appropriate to report to educational supervisor or higher ups. If it's less bad, then it can be more appropriate to directly confront and try and solve the issue at your level.

from what I usually get on medify, escalating a situation without confronting the person first is always C but sometimes it could be D if the escalation is too much, seeking advice or suggesting someone to bringing something to the educational supervisor is usually always A, however bringing something up about someone else without them knowing is usually inappropriate.

Is verbal reasoning the hardest topic of the ucat? Do you have any tips on how to read fast and actually know what you're reading?

Verbal reasoning is the hardest for a lot of people for sure. I think the best way to practice is to read a lot outside of your UCAT practice as well. For example if you're reading a textbook, try speed reading that like it was a passage in the UCAT!
