Marshall Mathers and his biological daughter, Hailie Jade, are VERY close. Eminem adopted Kim's niece, Alaina, when her sister overdosed. Kim had a baby, Stevie, with another man while they were divorced. He adopted Alaina and Stevie and got his half-brother, Nate, out of foster care and became his legal guardian. Marshall Mathers/Eminem and even Slim Shady has been a superlative father. Hailie's biological mother, Kim, played a big and positive part in all three girls' lives. Em wouldn't have all of these treasured moments on film if Kim hadn't been there. Notice the dates, 1999 through 2001. He didn't tour so he could be home with his girls and be part of their lives. 50 Cent said he gave up 100 million dollar tour. I find it amazing he was able to keep his daughters out of the spotlight.

Hailey Jade is his biological daughter with his ex- wife, Kim, who he married and divorced twice. Alaina, who he adopted, is the oldest, and she is the daughter of Kim's deceased twin sister. Stevie-Laine is his youngest adopted daughter and she is the biological daughter of his ex-wife Kim and the man she was with after she divorced Em. I don't think he adopted his younger brother Nate.

I love how we hardly know anything about any of his kids (not bio for some, but his non the less). Even with Hailey, she went to a public high school, a state university, wasn’t raised in Hollywood etc … We’re getting to know her now, as an adult. On her terms. And his ex had a daughter with another man. And he adopted her as well. Whitney/stevie And he got custody of his little brother Nate. And raised him also. As he was taken from there mom when he was 8 and put in the system. And someday she will watch this again. And treasure it when he is gone. Right now. Definitely too hard. As they are so very close.
