@@thebigloc1 If the Meena character has boosted the ratings for the show, they will milk it for all its worth. It's a business. I think they made the right call to end it soon, though. Samantha Giles said that it should conclude on a high note. Incidentally, the Yorkshire Ripper got away with his crimes for years before he was caught and died in prison.

Meena asking 'where is everyone' and smiling at and taunting the gallery as she pleaded not guilty to the murder charges was brilliant. Still significantly more entertaining than most scenes involving most other characters on the show. I still think it's annoying that there weren't scenes with Meena and Manpreet really raking up the past in more detail, to explain how Meena became a (totally awesome) remorseless killer (more scenes with Manpreet and less with Charles would have been good). Maybe that's still on the agenda I don't know, but if not it was a wasted opportunity.

@Bishop Gray nope I thought that Richard Hillman in Corrie and Cameron Murray in Emmerdale were also awesome, as they entertaining and well written. I thought that Gray in Eastenders was terrible because he was so wooden and boring, plus his storyline dragged on painfully. So your post was pretty weird and silly ! Not everything is binary, that’s a stunted way of thinking !

Trouble with that is if you’re deemed legally insane you get committed/sectioned and if it’s a violent crime (like as such) you’re committed/sectioned as being mentally ill and dangerous AND you’ll end up serving more time
