The fact that the peanut bamba dissolves so easily, as you noticed, makes it super popular with babies (and by "super popular" I mean almost 100%). It is said that the popularity of bamba with such young kids and the exposure to peanuts in that form is responsible to the near zero peanut allergy in Israel.

Here's what you've been eating: 1. Osem, Pretzels - the 'slim' kind 2. Bney Riad, Coconut Snack 3. Telma, Kifley, Onion Rings 4. Elite, Alma, Cinnamon Gum 5. Osem, Sweet Bamba, Strawberry Snack 6. Rolladin, Gliliut, Hazelnut & Chocolate rolls 7. Osem, Bamba, Peanut Snack 8. Beacon, Toffee, Strawberry Toffee 9. Elite, Kifkef, Chocolate Sticks (That was soduko:) the KifKef series is similar to the 'KitKat' series. 10. Bney Riad, Marmalade Snack You've got a far better package than last time:)
@SimplyMayaBeauty10 жыл бұрын
OK, Israeli to the rescue! Let's translate: 1. This is from "Osem", it's a form of a popular pretzel-type snack called "Beygale", but this is the flat version (called "shtuhim"). 2. These don't have anything to add to what you said- It says "coconut snack" on it ("Hatif Kokus"). 3. These are called "Keff-li"- "fun for me" (sort of). 4. These are called "Alma" (my baby sister's name, funny enough) and they're sugar free cinnamon gums. 5. These are called "Bamba Metuka" which literally means sweet bamba. Remind me of my childhood :) They are indeed strawberry flavored. The peanut butter is the classic :) 6. These are typically called "Gliliot" here, I love these! The vanilla flavor is really good too, but the chocolatey-nutty center is great! 7. Same bamba as the one in the last video :) 8. "Mamtak Toffy"- "Taffy Candy"- A total childhood-memories type of snack. They are strawberry flavored. 9. These are a fairly new release- Haven't actually tried them yet! They come in a few flavors now. It's called "Kiff Keff" which typically are a kit-kat like snack, but these are called "Kiff Keff Maklot"- "Kiff Keff Sticks" (Kiff- high five, Keff- fun). And yes it is a sudoku in the back :P 10. "Marmalade Snack". Pretty self explanatory and very common. I don't love these, but they go way back and I think even my mom would eat these. And I'm purposefully ignoring the really hateful anti-Israel comments. Hope you had fun eating these! :D
@GaviLazan10 жыл бұрын
emmymadeinjapan SimplyMayaBeauty some additional information: -Osem (אסם) is one of the leading brands of snack and wheat based products in Israel, it's name literally means "barn". -Beygale' is hebrew for pretzel, though can also be used for bagels. The flat ones are for dipping :) -Keff-li is Telma's (a Unilever brand) sort of lame response to Osem's Bissli that you tried last time, they are usually regarded as the cheap not-as-tasty alternative. The one you ate was "onion" flavored. -Alma gum is an old brand of gum made by the Elite (chocolate, candy and snack) company that was brought back recently, though Elite has other brands- Bazooka being one of them. -The sweet version of Bamba is one of five current variations of the snack: Classic, Sweet, Nougat filled, Halva filled and "Bamba filled". Originally supposed to be a cheese flavored snack, the sales weren't good, so Osem made it PB flavored. They also tried caraway, grill, "corn"(?) and cheese flavors, though only the peanut one survived. -For some odd reason, that I don't know if even the best marketing execs will be able to explain, the original Bamba comes in two different packages- white and blue, and orange. They are exactly the same product, just different color bags. They are even sold alongside each other at the store. There is a long standing debate here whether the white one or the orange one is better. -The hazelnut sticks are exactly that, an Israeli version of Pocky. They are relatively new to the market, and are branded under the "Kif Kef" brand- the Israeli Kit-Kat. -Ok, that "marmalade snack", I apologize on behalf of Israel. Those are one of the weirdest, most bizarre snacks Israel has to offer. I don't know many people who like it. It is part of the range of "cheap, traditional-ish generic snacks that people don't usually buy unless they are older or making a candy basket" that include the coconut snack, a peanut-and-honey snack bar and a sesame seed-and-honey snack bar. I would include Halva bars in that category too, but many people like Halva (though I don't) so I will leave it out.

We get Fizzer chews here in Australia! They are made in South Africa actually. I recently got a show bag full of them from the Sydney Royal Easter Show (an annual carnival around Easter time!). There's about ten different flavors, Four standard: Strawberry, Cream Soda (lime green and is not like US cream soda flavor more like a UK soda), Apple (yellow green), and Blue Buzz Mixed Fruit flavor. Secondary/rare flavors are Orange and Grape. Newest flavors are Sour Grape and Sour Strawberry. The most rarest are the brown Cola and red Raspberry flavor ones! They also have half size chews in bags available in certain import stores, and party packs of 8 sticks in the supermarket. I only remember the Cola and Raspberry ones from my childhood! Also, that pink and white coconut bar looks and sounds like Coconut Ice to me! It's very popular around Christmas here!

Hey Emmy! First of all, I love your videos! Thank you for making them, you're simply lovely to watch :) Just so you know, the pretzel you've tasted first is made by a company called "Osem" (which, I personally believe, is an Israeli way of saying "awesome"...) and pretzels, in Hebrew, are called "Bey-ga-leh". the funyun snack you had is actually called "Kefli", which in Hebrew literally means "Fun for me", but they've just taken two words and made it into one, so instead of two words ("Kef" = fun, "Li" = for me), it's just one word - Kefli. The Bamba is in fact strawberry. The gum brand you tasted is called "Alma", which means "lady" in Hebrew, and that's why it has a little drawing of a pretty girl above where the name is. This brand has been here such a long time, we all taste this gum and instantly go back to our childhoods. The Roladin hazelnut cookie you tasted, we like to call "Gli-li-yot". Glil means tube-shaped, so we Israelis like to call them "tiny tubes" :) That's it, I think. Sorry if it was too long to read :)

And btw, disregard Mozart Junior - the coconut sticks are quite popular here. You should also try Egozi, Twist bar, mekupelet, creamugit - and there are many more Israeli sweet and savory snacks.

The manufacturer is called "osem" not "odem" and the red bamba (that is how its called) gets it's hot pink from natural food coloring made from beets! The pretzels are called "shtoo-him". literally - "flats" The pink snack made from coconut is popular on Passover because Jews do not eat products made from flour at all throughout the week of Passover (various strange snacks were created due to this ban). same goes for the Rainbow bar although people here also say it's too sweet. The cinnamon Sugar-free gum is called "alma" and made by "strauss". The meaning of the name is "Miss" or "young lady" and it's a special edition to commemorate the original gum brand "alma" that was common in the 70's, 80's and 90's although then it was made with sugar. The fluorescent Pink Taffy. It's soft and sticky in summer time and in the winter its hard and fragile. That's is my favorite :)

Please stop with that Palestine thingy, there is a two state solution going on. There will be two states working and cooperating together. One will be called the state of israel, the other will be called the state of Palestine. Please stop the hate already. Most Israelis and Palestinians are tired of the bloodshed.. Israel will be called israel and Palestine will be called Palestine.
@nadiros22210 жыл бұрын
Hopefully that will be the case, unless some idiot decides to screw the whole process over, just as always.
