This song was written by Tim Foust, Home Free's producer Darren Rust and Tim's friend and frequent collaborator Chris Chatham and the guys definitely wrote a song that touched on the emotions of the loss of someone dear at Christmas can bring up. Don't feel ashamed for showing your grief because really it is an expression of love, the deeper the grief, the deeper the love that it represents for the loved one lost.

Man I to have experienced loss over the years and it'll be ok , I have lost both of my parents my aunts and uncles and some of my cousins and even my son at birth but we move on brother life is ours embrace it. Wonderful reaction man

I am so sorry for your loss, I know it hurts deep. This is my first Christmas without my mom too. Last year was awful. I lost my brother and sister and my mom gave up living. She was 85 and her 4th & 5th bout of breast cancer had been in remission for 3 years, so you know she was a tough person. Losing two more kids was too much for her. In between the losses, my husband had three strokes. He's much better right now. Sending big hugs to you, take care❤
