Where the hell you coming up with Cocaine. He loved playing with this audience, and making jokes he was the best singer there ever was, and will be. He was an amazing man with a beautiful heart and donated to a lot of charities. Wow, you got it wrong guy, very wrong. I’m not sure where you came up with that idea I kind of messed up. I will never recommend a song from Elvis, to you. He is a very intelligent, beautiful man with a huge heart, and the fact you kept mentioning cocaine is a insult to him, and I am very offended for him

ADAM BELL-BASTEIN. SINCE HE IS ANOTHER ADAM, HE WILL BE KNOWN AS BASTEIN, JUST LIKE CHANCE USES HIS LAST NAME TO AVOID CONFUSION. HE IS A MEMBER OF THE ALPHABET COMMUNITY AND IS MARRIED. I DON'T KNOW YET WHO HIS HUSBAND IS.

There was NO reference to cocaine! You don't get it. That's something we used to say to someone when we were tired of arguing with them. It's called being a smart ass. He wasn't high on stage. I'm disappointed in the fact that your saying this about him. Research or don't do Elvis reactions.

Why on earth would you think Austin has a lot of money?? You don't know much about the music business if you think that there is much money to be made unless you are a big star. Neither you nor I know anything about his finances and making wild assumptions is not respectful or even polite.

Austin is 37 & he just got married for the first time last fall. He's at that age where it's all coming together & time to think about children & the rest of his/their life. As much as I'm sad that he is leaving Home Free we can still follow him on his solo career & keep up with their life because they are so generous with sharing their time & giving us glimpses into their life & interests. I will always love Home Free too!!

Elvis's Mother bought him his first guitar for his birthday in 1946 when he was only 11 yrs old. He played that same guitar through high school and in the early part of his career. He also played piano and drums.

They've been talking about a wildlife sanctuary of some sort for a couple years now and I think this takes them a step or two closer to that. He also mention starting up their outdoor channel The Beauty and the Bass again. I would love to see that. I've really missed it. Oh, BTW, the dog in her lap is named Koda. I have to wonder where Titus and Dawg are. The three are usually vying for mom and dad's attention together. And that leads me to recommending a wonderful video with just Austin Brown and his pianist with their version of the Louis Armstrong classic What a Wonderful World (Animal Take).

That clip is from the '68 Comeback Special, aired on NBC. Elvis was coming off 8 or 9 years of doing movies and was hoping to revive his musical career and get back to live shows. (He had a lot riding on that special.) On stage with him were 2 of his original band members, Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana. Elvis played guitar and piano, but I think you're remarking on Scotty Moore's picking. Many guitarists were influenced by Scotty Moore, who said he was doing nothing much special, nothing more than “filling in holes”, but he was too modest; he left his own legacy in shaping and changing music culture. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. It's a shame the way things turned out for the original band members with Elvis. They - especially Scotty Moore - contributed so much to his sound.

It's been difficult to swallow, but respecting Austin and his wife Amberly is what I'm all about. It's time for maybe Chance or Rob to take a more "in charge" position within the band. He'll be with them he said through the Fall Tour (They have a new album set to release in just a couple of weeks) so it was good to announce it now,and then it won't be a shock when he leaves. God bless them !!!

Just discovered your channel. As far as I know, the song is more about coming of age and growing up, possible leaving home to grow, but accept that they are who they are because of where and how they were raised (no matter where you grew up). That’s what I get from it. It’s a beautiful song, and the lyrics are well written. It really struck a chord with me and I related to how and where I was raised (in the South). I was taught wrong from right, good manners (by my parents’ example), how to treat others (also by example) like you would want to be treated, etc.. Basically, to be a good person and be respectful and kind.

They can hit their fists on a counter , bang mugs on a bar, thump their hand against their chests, thighs, stomach. One thing about Home Free is they will show you if they use an instrument or if they are thumping on a bar or body parts. In this song all percussion is done vocally by Adam Rupp, and as you cab see in the Video Chance is playing the guitar. This is a Home Free original written by Chance

Oh I will be! I have seen some of their older stuff, being not completely new to Home Free when I started this channel. I was introduced by a friend of mine that was giving me crap about no longer being the deepest fog horn he knew. He was of course referring to Tim. He showed me their version of "Man Of Constant Sorrow" and I was blown away by Tim's (I now know that Chance was also on that low register) ability to sing so low. I hope you are having a blessed day!

Wasn't that great! We've been waiting for this official video by Home Free for awhile now. It felt like I was watching a movie. Home free is so talented & they can do any genre of music. Chance loves sea shanties & he wrote this song for the game "Skull & Bones". His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys, Tim's bass & Adam's fabulous vocal percussion.

When Home Free released their "Sea Shanty Medley" during the lock down and it went viral, the game company Ubisoft saw it and was so impressed by them that they reached out to Home Free and asked if they would be interested in creating an original song for their game (which was in development) Skull and Bones. Of course they jumped on that and their one and only sea shanty enthusiast, Adam Chance stepped up and wrote this master piece. Ubisoft introduced them and their song at the Summer Game Fest 2023, along with the lyric video which is what we had until now. This video incorporates elements of the game into the story depicted in the video. Well worth the wait, love it. What an epic original sea shanty by Chance and Home Free. You can tell Ubisoft contributed a lot to this video. Many have commented that it is like a mini movie including the end credits. In the credits the female pirate is referred to as Marianne and is played by Clair Glassford. The young Marianne is played by Kate Kilclough. Looking forward to what they have next for us.

This is not an a cappella song, it has guitar and mandolin, but what you normally have for drumming other than the beatboxing itself, is things like claps, snaps and body percussion, as in, you use yourself. It depends a bit on the groups

Just a couple of quick points. After The 68 Special Elvis never sang this song live again. Elvis never got involved politically in things and would often answer questions by saying he was just an entertainer and would rather keep his opinions to himself or he would have a funny retort to something. That said after he recorded "If I Can Dream" he reportedly said he would never record another song that didn`t mean something to him. Great reaction, please don`t let the negative stuff effect you, Elvis fans are a fabulous source of information and anyone promoting Elvis in a positive way will always be supported.

Elvis is more of a mine shaft than a rabbit hole. His catalogue of music is extensive and varied. His ability to sing Gospel, Blues, Country, Soul, Rock and Pop are legendary. His stage presence and charisma are off the charts and considering his very humble beginnings it`s fair to say his world wide stardom almost 50 years after his passing is incredible. While like us all he was far from perfect and had his faults, it`s also true that he was generous to a fault, loved his fans unconditionally and in my humble opinion is still the bench mark all other entertainers struggle to reach.

Ok, this is an original song that Chance wrote. When Home Free did the sea shanty medley during Covid, it went viral and attracted the game maker Ubisoft to them. They asked Chance to write a new shanty for their new game Skull and Bones and this is it. There’s a lyric video which has a lot of the game in it. And there’s a short live video for the Ubisoft crowd. This is their final video for it as the game comes out the end of this week. They can clap, snap, stomp, hit their thighs, whistle. The drums are all Adam although there is guitar and mandolin in this. It might be at Ubisoft’s request. Sometimes it happens when a guest plays an instrument or very rarely when Chance or a guest plays guitar. You might want to see Adam Rupp Drum Solo (2015). It’s just Adam and a microphone doing drums. Good one!!!😍☠☠

Chance played the mandolin. The Home Free were the first to incorporate not just a beat boxer but a woods best percussionist. It is original tune while chance wrote it Adam did the arrangement. Home Free is one of best group where the music comes first, meaning they all decide on best lead and divide chores among themselves. For those misogynistic males who say no women on pirate ships there was a very famous pirate captain leader that was indeed female. She had one major warship and two large sloops. One must remember it was not just good pirates sought but boots stolen from unarmed3rchant ships. Rum, food, clothes, anything they could steal and sell.

Back story: During covid lockdown, Home Free released Sea Shanty Medley, which went viral. It caught the attention of Ubisoft. Ubisoft contracted HF to write a shanty for their much-delayed video game Skull And Bones. HF gave the assignment to Adam Chance, lover of shanties, to write. This is the result. HF released both a lyric video (with video game footage) and a shortened live performance last summer. Ubisoft is releasing Skull And Bones Feb 16; HF released their official video of S&B a few weeks ago. Some of this video has a few scenes from the game. This shanty is not a capella, as they used a guitar and mandolin. However, all percussion is Adam Rupp's voice.
