This is so exciting! I'd like to send prayers for this little girl's birth mom. I hope she knows who you all are and has been able to watch the awesome progress her daughter has made becoming your child and sister to your children. She knows her daughter is safe and so loved by two beautiful parents and siblings. For whatever reason she chose to give her up was done with nothing but love. I hope your story will encourage other mom's in this circumstance to give birth to their children instead of exploring the alternative. Little Miss is such a part of your family now that at times I feel she looks like you. There are wonderful Christmas gifts but this one is beyond any other. Merry Christmas!

One of our adopted boys we got at 21 days. Another boy we got at 5 days. They are both Native American and it was Stressful We went through the tribe for the adoptions. The older is now 45 with kidney failure. On dialysis. The other is 35. We adopted four boys three with special neeeds Our youngest and greatest handicapped son passed away last April. He was also our happiest. We just trust Jesus for each day. My wife is going through multiple trails and is now ready to go be with Jesus. We’ve only been married57 years. What a hope we have in the Christ child whose birth we now celebrate.

It took us 2and half years to adopt 2of our grand kids out of foster care . The heartaches and set backs we went through were very tough!! All will work out as it should 🙏🏼 May I ask for holiday prayers we lost my mother-in-law this am she was in our care and just fell asleep we could not wake her and shortly after we got to the hospital she was gone 😢 peacefully but still has shattered our family on this holiday.hug your family and tell them how much they mean this year !!! It is a gift 💝

You are sooo blessed to be able to adopt this quickly!! 🤗. I have adopted 10 children. The 8 from foster care took over 3 years to 6 months to finalize. My twin boys were a private adoption and they took over 2 years! Talk about holding your breath!🫣 But God is good, every time!❤️. I been thru this situation before. Fosteres my niece and nephew since newborn, filed for guardianship when they were 2 and 3. Went to court 1st time didn't go as planned fought again for a 2nd court day and all rights given to my husband and I. They are now teenagers and boy did I cry after it was legally done and I was granted. I got home told them the news they cried and hugged me. Thank you for being our mom. We adopted our son 13 years ago. We were matched with his birthmom and met her while she was still pregnant. We were in the delivery room with her when he was born. I remember getting into a little tiff with my husband while we were signing papers in the hospital because I was so beyond nervous, I kind of close up when my nerves are in overdrive. He was my son and I loved him so much. We stayed in the hospital with him and took him home 2 days after birth. The 3 months until we finalized were the happiest yet scariest of times. We were so attached and the fear that something not go right is prevalent in your mind. But, man, did we celebrate when we got to that court hearing. He just had his 13th birthday and he is truly our miracle.

You are sweet dear people and Jessica so just wanted to give you a hug while you were sharing about all the stress you have experienced lately. A week or more back you suddenly leaped to mind and I felt very strongly I needed to pray for you. It may sound funny but it was as clear as day that I needed to pray for you. We adopted our son thru foster care 18 years ago. We couldn’t have kids and we decided to go through the foster care program. We completed the program in March and were told there were multiple kids that needed placement. We did not get the phone call for a foster child until November. I understand that the process is so stressing. Every time we went to court there was always something. Our son was 1 yr old when we got him in foster care and we did not officially adopt him until 3 years later. He was our miracle child because we could not have any children. He just recently turned 19. I don’t know where we would be without him, he is our only child. You are giving this child a better life and you are such an amazing family. I never leave comments but this video brought back so many of my own memories. 19 years on 12/26 we adopted our own son. He was born in June of 2003 and we were there at the hospital when he was born and was able to take him home from the hospital. In Iowa you need to have a 6 months waiting period before you can finalize an adoption so we had to wait. I totally understand the uneasy feeling your having I had the same feelings too. Boy was he the best Christmas gift we had ever gotten. Love IS incredibly amazing. As soon as a tiny child is placed in our arms ( whether we gave birth or not) that unconditional love kicks in and before we know what is happening, it's hard to remember life before them. They are suddenly a part of us, of our lives and it's overwhelming how much we love them. Words just don't come close to describing how overwhelming it can be. You will do fine. The Lord knows that baby should be with you. I adopted my daughter 52 years ago I had two biological children as well. Some people might not understand that you can love your adopted child the same as you do your biological children. The bond is just a strong. God bless you all 🙏❤️

well, consider -- they have to post a video either way -- because they would have to explain that she went back with her mother or for whatever reason, the adoption was not finalized. that is one of the 'chances' you take when you announce something before it is finalized.

Oh man, yes you just have to rely on God! We are foster parents who absolutely support reunification. We’ve had 3 littles. We had one of them for over a year and were consistently told it would lead to adoption, and the randomly one court date they said “she’s going home in 2 weeks.” Rocked our worlds and broke us and our kids. But God!! He has plans for us and all the fosters we get to love on for temporary or forever. Praying everything goes well for your adoption day! ❤
