Man, I’ve lost it in my truck, screamed at my windshield at the top of my lungs and bloodied all my knuckles from punching the damn steering wheel. 5 mins later , I walk in and hear how was you day… and I say it was good… how was your day. From the daughter of long distance truck driver i appreciate u sir. I was lucky as got travel with him ALL over the world and we ended up in the Persian gulf from Britain which is where i grew up and ended up working with the branches when they came on shore during and after the gulf war. My father was also a veteran a truly good man and he passed away just over 9 years ago in the gulf he died in his sleep and tho we are not Muslim it was nice to know that in islam it meant you were a good man . Not a moment goes by that i dont miss him. He struggled so much but never complained or asked for help neither did my mother and we are trying to break that chain as we all need help.
