Yo this group is insane, now next match it all depends on plant synchro wining so infernity can pass or dad wining so both dad and plants can play the top16, I love these close group endings

Bone tower mill can win in the first turn. A mill deck needs to be able to win through at least 1, maybe 2 handtraps and be able to FTK to be viable imo.

Grandsoil vs Plant Synchro will be one hell of a match as they'll likely play each other in the top 16, synchro era's greatest deck and I reckon if Grandsoil had come out in plant synchro era it would've been a great rival to that deck.

What is the point of Empty jar? Win 1 game if no handtrap and then lose every single match? Why is a gimmicky deck like that in the cup?

Ugh! That's the problem with Empty Jar. There's such a huge reliance on luck in terms of what you reveal off of your Jars. Going with Plants 3-2 in the next one. This one could honestly go either way. Plants have an excellent grind game while DAD Return has sheer power on its side. I expect think I will give the upper hand to Plants though because it has an excellent grind game and access to hand traps, of which DAD only has access to D.D. Crow, which is okay, but not exactly a game ender against Plants.

Those were fun games, you probably could have won game 2 if you activated pot of greed instead of trunade first. The five monsters from infernity was rediculous game 3

@@pandaman1331 one of the most fun aspects of yugioh is finding unintended interactions between cards. Empty jar is one of the best examples of a group of cards put together and used in ways they weren’t meant to. Honestly empty jar is more fun to play then infernity imo

Just look at decks like Dragon Link. And don't give me the typical old schooler excuses

@@pandaman1331 dragon link is fun, the pool of dragons and their support is so huge that the deck has so much potential for deckbuilding. I’ve splashed so many different engines and 1-2 card combos in that I’ve lost count. Deck building is fun and the more cards the more options, i still play old formats quite a bit though as the limited pools have their own charm.

5:23 I think Infernity player should've dumped Heiress instead of Archfiend here. Heiress eff to search Arch, set S/Ts, special Arch with Stygian, search Launcher, overlay into Dire Wolf pop the backrow and then activate Soul Charge. That way that SJ wouldnt stop their entire turn. Unless I'm missing something ofc
