Hi Abena, I use the same ingredients for my Hausa Beer, the only difference is, I add my sugar to the water and boil until its brown and allow it to cool before I add it to the blended ingredients. By doing this way I use less sugar. Do you have a shop in Leicester?

That’ll be a great idea, will try your method next time I make as it will also prolong its shelf life. I don’t have a shop in Leicester but I make homemade dishes for sale. You can contact me on 07497108879

hi can you write it in the description the items? I'm Ghanaian American. My dad is Ghanaian and can cook. However, never showed me, I am 27 🙄 I will learn. I tried to make jollof twice and it was a no no. I seen your quick recipe on here and will give it a try. I can make like mac and cheese, lasagna but I want to start making food from Africa vs going to restaurants and buying.

Alima Wilson ok I will. You need to keep trying. Use Thai jasmine rice for all Ghanaian rice dishes. If there’s anything you want to know don’t hesitate to ask me.
