These are not drones, they are what is called an eVTOL known as the ARCHER MIDNIGHT in production by a company called Stellantis. Stellantis produces many different types of vehicles including some made by Daimler Chrysler more notably. I am a truck driver and sometimes need to drive during the night , 2 weeks ago going east on I94 in Wisconsin I saw at least 6 objects flying one after another in about 2000 feet , it was almost sunrise and the light from the sun was reflecting on these , could be nothing but was something we don't see normally at least in a highly populated region.

I'm a drone hobbyist from across the pond, and the misinformation I see is staggering. Drones of this size, even commercial ones, have strict regulations as they can pose a hazard for commercial airspace if not handled properly (certification often needed to be allowed to fly a drone of this size). Night time flying is even more of an issue, this requires special permits, just like private pilots need IFR certification to be allowed to fly on instruments only (because it is hard to do, even with computer assistance). You cannot simply order a drone this size without paperwork. And maybe you could on the grey market, but not dozens and have 'an organized social media driven prank'. As it is my hobby, I know for a fact that even the most expensive models have laughable operating times. Bigger batteries equals more weight equals less flight time, no way to bypass physics. Although I can see what my drone sees when flying (multiple cameras), I can't judge when I'm being observed and take countermeasures like some sort of 'dark mode' button. That's not included in commercially available aftermarket parts. As a European, I'm very much intrigued to find out what this is all about, just like NJ residents.

Unmanned aircraft that weigh above 55 lbs are subject to FAA PART91 regulations; these UAV require a flight worthiness certificate; ADS-B transponders (altitude reporting and identification equipment). Given the requirements if there is unidentified aircraft flying in our airspace they would be in violation of these regulations and the FAA would be involved.

Here is a side not to your concern, unless the drone is flying over restricted airspace and/or depending on the type of drone, at certain elevations, there is really no laws being broken. FAA regulations for commercial drones require flight plans and approvals but hobbyist’s drones don’t have those same requirements. With that said, I find the lack of DoD responses to this issue more telling.

I had this idea three days ago; If there was a credible threat of some sort of a nuclear device in US territory (for example some info, real or fabricated, through intelligence channels that Russia has placed a device somewhere or possibly several places in the US); would the government announce that to the public before verifying and locating such devices? Would they risk the panic that would most likely cause? Panic itself can be used as hybrid weapon using psyop tactics. If the US military or DHS had drones with sensors with the capability to detect radio active materials with capabilities that are still secret, they would have to deploy them if such threats were perceived, but they would most likely deny their existence and try to play down any sightings of their use. This to me seems the most reasonable explanation of what many people are seeing. The extra "noise" and confusion of more and more inexperienced people looking up and seeing everything from private and commercial aircraft, recreational and commercial drones and probably the detector drones controlled by either military and DHS or what ever other agencies might be involved adds to the "smoke" of keeping that tech as secret as possible for as long as possible. We have had them over the Oregon coast also. A medevac plane was buzzed by one at 14,000 ft and an airliner saw one at 30,000 ft and it shot up higher to 50,000 ft. Greetings...I live in Michigan, where drones are used to crop dust and spray pesticides. These drones have a total span of 6-8 ft. Have 2 gallon capacity of chemicals, and can be programmed to fly in a field of about 10-15 acres. In theory, those drones would not be able to fly as high as the drones spotted over Jersey, New York or California..UNLESS they have been modified to fly longer and farther. That would require battery life to well exceed commercial grade batteries. IF we are being prepped like we were on 9/11, when a military exercise was being conducted and a scenario of the Twin Towers being struct was part of the military exercise, then it is possible that this is a military exercise involving drones capable of spraying a rogue viruses or poison from the drone, much like the crop dusting drones here in Michigan. A manufactured pandemic would need a rouge virus..and 300 vials of viruses over the past 3 weeks ago came up missing in Australia. If we put enough information together, and that the drones only fly at night when most people could not properly identify them, we could have another 9/11 on our hands getting ready to happen.

Therefore, the flashing lights would be part of the alleged transparency that the Government would give. Beyond that, the flashing lights on drones are indicators. Red and Green are for the validation that the ground controller is linked and communication to the drone. Blue and Purple are validation that the drone is communicating to the satellites. All red flashing are a warning that the drone is low on battery life and may land on its own if not returned to area of launching. For the Gov to tell the public that there is no credible evidence that these drones pose no threat to the public, is insane, but proper protocol during a top secret military exercise. They DO pose a threat, because should one crash out of the control of a operator on the ground, it will crash wherever....including onto a citizen's home or car or wherever. Once satellite signals have been lost, the drone flies itself. There's 2 distinctly different types of these craft being observed. The first type is indeed a "drone" type of unmanned aircraft complete with navigation lights and you can hear their engines as they fly over. They also clearly have wings. The other type (like you captured) is the "orb" type of craft. These appear to glow and do not have navigational lights or beacons like normal aircraft or drones. They are also completely silent and they move in ways that defy both gravity and physics. Regardless of what they are, the statements made by officials that they don't know what they are and that they don't pose a threat are completely incongruous. If they truly don't know what they are, how do they know whether they pose a threat or not? Or they do know what they are and they are lying. But with the thousands of eye witnesses and all of the video evidence, they are definitely real and there are 2 distinctly different types of craft being observed. This we know. These same formations/flights have taken place in Colorado and Nebraska going back to 2020 if I remember correctly. There are videos posted here on KZbin of those incidents as well. Those were referred to as "drone swarms" and, once again, nobody could say what they were or where they were from. Now it's happening over New Jersey. This has been going on for a while.

As a private pilot, if you're flying VFR (Visual Flight Rules), there's no reason to be in communications with Air Traffic Control. You'll have you're transponder squaking a VFR code, and radar will know you're there, and your altitude, but they don't know where you came from or where you're going. Similarly, drones can be in the air legally without ATF knowing everything about them. That's not how the system works.

Great informative video! I lived through the last half of the "Project Bluebook" era of the USAF. This was the 70's, and we were seeing U.F.O.'s like crazy the summer of 1974. I was in the military complex for 35 years. I’m wondering if they’re not military looking for a dirty weapon. Drones are looking for nuclear material, and they are military. They don’t say anything because it’d cause panic

Exactly what's going on... The drones are not being secret, when an American police drone tries to go take a look these bigger drones turn off their lights and disappear into the darkness at speed of 60+mph (only military drones can go that fast) They want to be seen, they want it all over the news, so when the attack America with these drones they can blame it on whatever countries they want in order to get WW3 going before Trump takes office . Watch and see if I'm right..

Two months ago, the defense authorization bill was being reauthorized in Congress and some Congressman were attempting to ban drones manufactured by the largest drone manufacturer in the world named DJI manufactured in China last week. The bill was passed without language banning these drones, to the chagrin of many members of Congress, who wanted these drones banned from the US. Now all of a sudden there’s a mysterious explosion of unexplained drones in New Jersey and Virginia and other states causing a great amount of concern. Members of Congress and local law enforcement and politicians have asked the federal government to look into it, and the federal government has not done much and insist that it’s regular manned, commercial and general aviation manned aircraft.! If I were the FAA and members of Congress and I wanted these drones banned without using the defense authorization bill, I would figure out a way to cause fear in an effort to get Congress to pass laws banning drones from this Chinese company! They were unable to ban them through the defense authorization bill because there was absolutely no proof that these drones or the companies that manufacture them were doing anything nefarious! I believe the federal government and the FAA could possibly be involved in these drone sightings in order to get these drones made by DJI banned through the back door, using fear as a catalyst to get congress to pass laws and avoid having to prove that this company is acting in a nefarious manner! I own three drones by this company and have a large investment in them. I use them only for recreational purposes for photography and they are registered and I fly them according to all FAA regulations ( I'm not part 107 licensed so there are restrictions for me in particular that i'm required to follow and do ALWAYS!!!) and now Congress wants to ban my drones because they can’t prove they are harmful so they’re using other methods to get them banned, I think this is wrong! When this Congress bans these we will know why all these drone sightings took place and they will not happen again, and Congress will say that they prevented it when in fact, they no longer need to do it because they’ve achieved their goal of removing this companies products from our country. This is my humble opinion as a legal respectful recreational drone user.

In addition the FAA has never been a fan of drones because they can and have created big problems and tragedy for manned aircraft and it is completely understandable that the FAA does not want their job made more difficult. I completly understand their concerns and as a sometimes user of commercial air travel I too want to be safe in the air and the FAA does an amazingly woderful yet difficult job managing commercial and general aviation in our country. My hat is off to all the hardworking competent people at the FAA. Still drone technology exists and is used for many good reasons. Search and rescue, criminal law enforcement, and many other reasons. ( Drones are used to inspect critical infrastructure for safety in a manner that is much better than previous ways to do this investigation.... ie power lines,bridges,gas pipelines both natural and petroleum ETC) AND EDUCATED REGISTERED RECREATIONAL USERS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO SAFELY USE THIS TECHNOLOGY as much as anybody else. The FAA doesn't like it but they need to adapt and use thier amazing ability to keep ALL air travel safe for everybody! I'ts thier job!

Hear me out- a lot of them are likely holograms - That's why they "disappear" when cameras try to focus on them, how they can't find where they come from, or go to, and why they don't have a thermal signature. They are also blurry when zoomed in on- yet colorful as if to be noticed. Of course, only seen at night- the conditions holograms need to work.

We saw one here in Central Florida and got video with our phone. It was as big as a car and about 50 feet up. It was so unsettling. This is unbelievable. Our government has to know, and if they don’t, that is even more frightening.
