We stopped by the front of the house a few weeks ago just to admire their majestic gate and life-sized carved animals. No public beaches nearby and you have to pay to visit some of the other beaches. The family that had this built has worked their way up to this level of awesomeness with a doctorate and investing in real estate. They hosted many benefits on their property and now I can imagine their lawn being filled with folks enjoying music and chef catered meals.

yes, I think I only heard that the "floors" were heated..and thought, oh yes, my ex-boyfriend bought a fixer-upper home and included heated floors in the new design: awesome! and I'm gonna do that, too! then the *rest* of what the guy in the video was *actually* saying seeped into my consciousness: he meant what we in our little tiny world where *we* live call, "the ground,"meaning *oudoors!," hahaha!! and I've HEARD of people with money having that...even saw a doco years back..about some bridges and stretches of highway, in Norway? somewhere in Scandinavia, anyway..with the heated "floor" for helping to make safer winter driving conditions..and also *neon PURPLE* dashes of lights being used for easily seen highway lane dividers at night..that awesomeness, rather than the ridiculous, white and barely maintained painted on dashes of lane dividers on so many of our roads, here in the states!🙄 always a disaster waiting to happen - esp., in places where it SNOWS in the winter!🤦🏾♀️ so many great ideas have been used for aeons, it seems, in many other countries..not even expensive ones, at the end of the day...which reduce vehicle accidents and lessen the cost of road maintenance, etc..tax dollars being used *wisely.* just as wonderful as the awesome *[self-cleaning in between patrons],* statuesque & fashionable portable public bathrooms in Paris..this I saw [and made use of PLENTY of times, myself]..when I was back-packing & youth-hostelling my way through Europe..now let me think... *oh, YES! over TWENTY frakking YEARS AGO!!*😖 as our USA local and state politicians and also many citizens *complain* about human urine & feces being a problem on the streets of our major metro areas..and how expensive it is to clean up..so it doesn't usually even GET cleaned up and the problem is getting worse, on all fronts - and through no fault of their own, contrary to what far too many comfortably housed people believe. so, why not PROPERLY invest some of our tax dollars in self-cleaning 'porta-potties??' it cost a franc coin back then in France, to help cover the cost..but I say homelessness is only INCREASING, *everywhere.* ..so why not give those suffering it, enough tokens per month - that can work in place of whatever else can be used to pay for it..so no one is reduced to having to use the public streets, alleys and parks as toilets?

I have to say this, never in my life a real estate video has brought me to tears and took my breath away, but this house did, this is SO BEAUTIFUL! What moves me the most is that the design of the whole estate SCREAMS my grandfather's vision of style, he has built some of his houses in this fashion HIMSELF with his own hands! And the landscaping is really similar also to ones he has made. So watching this kept remembering me of him and how it would be his life dream to be able to afford living here, because my grandma also loves this style and having a backyard like that with access to the lake would really fulfill her as she loves just lounging outside specialy next to a body of water, their life would be made, and there was something new and exciting at every turn of the corner, truly breathtaking.

I've been a chef in restaurants and hotels for years, the stainless steel base like that is used for finer kitchens that are open designed and used for heavy duty cleaning equipment to protect the flooring, also was probably installed in this house to protect the chefs kitchen as well, typically in most places we have industrial grade kitchen tile and everything is stainless steel. You buy this house as a second home (no one lives in Tahoe, 60% of the houses there are 2nd homes or income generating rentals.) and then you pay 1% a year in property tax. Lets say you own the house for 50 years, thats another $22,000,000. Putting the ownership of the house at 66mm lifetime. That's 18% of your net worth on a 2nd home.
