Maybe it’s true that she said she was done and he convinced her to try and after failed attempts she felt it was over and that her marriage was too. Can you imagine trying for kids and not being able to conceive. It’s heart breaking. And finally after she got herself together and saw she was worth more than that she was done. We’re all entitled to change our minds. About having kids, not having them, and wanting to experience that. So yeah that would definitely have the growing apart now. His new girlfriend is 35. Prime baby making years. So if he has them soon, then yeah Sofia wasn’t making stuff up.

Maybe that is how she felt, she may have felt that was the reason they were growing apart because she could not give him children. I agree. My dad was about 4 years younger than my mom. For some reason my mom always felt too old for my dad. Maybe because she had other children from a previous marriage as well. She would tell dad that he could marry someone younger and have a life he wanted. Which was weird since they had 3 kids together. But something was fundamentally wrong. Now as an adult I see it was moms insecurities brought on by her MIL old fashioned views and moms depression and anxiety. We are our own worst enemies sometimes.

Since she tried to paint him and his desire for kids as the reason they got divorced, I’m glad he got the chance to tell his side of the story.
