The time reduction form using the 15 inch wheels was more likely due to unsprung weight saving than handling.

sw4gr1d I have looked into into it extensively as a matter of fact I used to have a 2001 db8 suspension doesn’t mean just mean coil overs, there’s spring rates to play with, adjustable A arms , sway bars and end links etc...

Late 90s were a different time! I just paid $2500 (plus shipping) for a carbon bonnet for my Fiat 500 Abarth. Imagine getting that bonnet, SW388s, the upgraded pads AND the altered ratios for $3000? 😂😅 I saw SW388s advertised the other day for my FK8 Type R, they were $5600 for JUST the rims! 18" x 9.5" for FK8!! (Still a classic design, I didn't know they made them for modern cars with modern, larger sizes)

All that fannying about when they could have just changed the rear antiroll bar to uprated one which is 1mm larger in diameter. Plus.. change tyres to track day 15". Understeer solved. Carbon hood would remove 15kg weight over front wheels... so remove spare wheel to rebalance 👍
