As a chef, you never stop learning. Especially if you meet another cooking enthusiast that is willing to teach you some local dishes. This time I had the chance to learn some authentic Shanghainese spring rolls with traditional filling plus a Shanghai version of the famous Russian Borscht. I was happy to be welcomed at my friends home and experience Shanhainese home cooking first hand.
