Waarom ik alles in het Engels doe?
Omdat ik video's kijk van Fransen, Denen, Noren, Spanjaarden, Portugezen, Duitsers én heel veel Engelstaligen die allemaal Engels lullen en ook bootjesmensen / liveaboards zijn. Want alleen dan kan je je ervaring wereldwijd delen. En wat blijkt? Mijn video's worden in 127 landen bekeken (zie S03/E01 voor de lijst). Veel van mijn kijkers en abonnees zijn Engelstaligen die mijn video's helemaal top vinden, omdat ze óf familie hebben uit Nederland, of hier jaren geleden zijn geboren en door omstandigheden nu elders op de wereld wonen. En, dat ik dan Engels spreek met een accentje (net als de Fransen, Denen, Noren, Spanjaarden, Portugezen, Duitsers overigens) dan interesseert hen dat geen reet.
Weet je dat Nederlandse ondertiteling aan kan zetten? Doorgaans zo'n 4 uur nadat de video is gepubliceerd. Klik op de video, en kies uit de iconen die rechtsonder verschijnen dan voor [ondertiteling] en kies daar voor Nederlands. Dan wordt zelfs mijn steenkolen Engels (knap he van die jongens en meisjes KZbin) vertaald naar Nederlandsch.

Perkins dieselmotoren, niet klein te krijgen. Vol met zeewater gestaan, reviseren en hop het loopt weer!👍 En nu is waarschijnlijk het roken van de motoren ook verleden tijd! Mooi werk man, Henk-Jan. Ok, je stuurboordmotor is er dus ook uit en wordt gereviseerd.

❤ that is the trought we know. And the solution is a ...no no as told henk jan will come back at this issieu later. The work on the engine has started already. And the crankshaft is back in place again. We just where waiting gor two new connectionrods .. They arrived today..🎉🥳💪

Oh, this is such a great news! Both the port engine being removed for repair and the other one able to start. I would recommend a very thorough review of the running engine before declaring it fine. But the fact that it has started is a huge step forward.

Like they have always said water and oil do not mix and invariably cost large amounts of Euro's particularly when it is a marinised Perkins engine. lucky it did not cause even more damage than spun bearings but it is good to see you are getting things put right once more.

Good to see that you are "mobile" again. I was wondering how it was possible you to get this hunk of steel out of the boat. Job well done. And the damage was extensive. Good to see they got it sorted. This nay have been a good opportunity to clean and paint the bildges and engine but time and money may not have been on your side. Did you fix the second engine or is this still work in progress. Best of luck and waiting on the next update.
