It's always funny when i hear people say they are surprised the Toyota is struggling but I've wheeled with them on difficult trails and have waited for them to finally ask for a pull lol

That’s what I think about the Colorado Trail Boss and it’s about 20k less!

The Honda is a beast, so unassuming, are you able to get a newer model as they've made some changes with the newest body style?

I do want to test the Trailsport trim on the passport, pilot, and Ridgeline, but haven't had the chance to yet.

Calling a Honda Ridgline a beast is funny! It’s like a car with a bed, hardly any ground clearance!

Hey Matt, it has been a while since we have had a video from you. When are you going to continue your outstanding work?

Hey Gio, Thanks for checking in! I do apologize for the delay in getting the videos up recently. There will be more fun content coming, and I'm planning to keep the channel going for the foreseeable future.

I have a 20' Titan P4X and Frontier setup should be the same, going 4hi you'll want to disengage traction control before starting otherwise when you start spinning the nannies will give you minimal power to work with. Great Vid by the way 💯

Haha, the puddles may or may not have gotten some water where it shouldn't be.

@@EngineAdventures I'm not familiar with them it may have been the traction or crawl whatever it was just strange sounds. It just sounded like a bird flapping trying to get out to me.
@EngineAdventures6 ай бұрын
@@JohnnyRebLa ohh, yeah. The brake based limited slip system uses ABS, thus the pulsating sound. Crawl control in the Tacoma is constantly using the throttle and abs to keep a very precise speed. As you set the speed higher the abs is much less intrusive.

The Honda looks like a car with a bed on the back, the ground clearance is horrible, the Honda is last place in looks, I thought Colorado Trail Boss out performed the Ranger
@EngineAdventures10 ай бұрын
I'll talk about that in the 3rd video, which will hopefully be up this week or next. The way my spreadsheets worked doesn't necessarily go with what my actual opinion is. The Ranger ranked higher because the spreadsheet adds value to vehicles with off-road cruise control (higher ranking on the brake based limited slip portion), which the Colorado doesn't really have. It actually has one of the worst brake based traction control systems of the trucks tested. GM relies more on the G80, which is totally acceptable. It just doesn't show up well in the spreadsheet.
