Great guide, just some things I want to add: Stormstrike should be prioritized over Lava lash because it gives maelstrom procs and with the 2 set bonus it reduces the CD of feral spirit. Ancestral Guidance (level 75 talent) is the better choice over conductivity. The burst healing can really help your raid out, especially when paired with some big fire novas.

Great guide preach, really nice for beginners. One thing that I don't believe was mentioned. Unleash elements only works for flame shock and fire nova. Prioritizing unleash before fire nova adds 40% damage to every flame shock's explosion.

Tiny thing to add here; Unleash is a 15 second cooldown, its 13 because of your Haste, Preach. More haste, less of a cooldown, and visa versa! Might mean in better gear, its harder to align with flame shocks.

I am happy that youre full of joy when playing the enhancement shaman. I on the other part am not. I came back from a long break (quit end cata) and I was SO disappointed with the spec tbh. I played around a little with the talents and even with echo of the elements (2 charges) i STILL had downtime on spells during fights, especially on single target. This should not ever happen if you ask me. We are given many spells (not as many as in previous expansions) but still this occurs. An what the hell did they do to the totems?! No more buff totems? You never ever use anything from earth or wind now (maybe wind elemental) and then for fire you use all of the given totems ALL the time. I am super disappointed with how shamans panned out with this expansion. It's pretty much all i ever play and have played it since vanilla. Bring back 2h! :D Very good video by the way!

xFjolnir if you're getting any more than 2 seconds of downtime you need more haste, you just don't have any real downtime as enhancement.

Aight, I don't do this often but I have a few points. With Primal Elementalist, my experience has shown me that even for single target fights, Storm Elemental is significantly weaker than Liquid Magma. I'm talking 4k overall dps difference between the two. Even after the buff, it's not worth it. On Echo of the Elements - it is not only easier, but also more effective to use it on AoE fights like Darmac and Thogar. Most adds have low enough HP that squeezing in that extra nova at the start is crucial. You also can take some liberties with keeping your totem up and using unleash for them without fear you'll lose out on dps due to missed nova cooldown. And you'll need this to keep ahead of hunters and mages on AoE since Nova was significantly nerfed since Mar'gok times. Lastly, with the 2p and 4p T17 bonus, you should prioritize stormstrike over lava lash, always. Doggies damage skyrockets with the 4p bonus, and you get to use them 40%+ more often with the 2p bonus. I've not played around with elemental master yet, though I might on my next raid, see how the overall damage behaves.

snow I just went through some 99th percentile logs and the highest I've seen was a 201k pull, and that's mostly the shamans around 690ilvl or more + guys ranking at the top of their realms, usually you won't see more than 175k, even if you do everything right

Okay, so I've been thinking. If I chose Echo of the Elements, can I get away with just not casting Frost Shock ever? How much DPS am I losing, and could it be more beneficial to just not use it at all? Also, considering Unleash Elements goes so well with Flame Shock, should I possibly just macro those together onto one core button which I tap twice, while having my singular Flame Shock on another bar (I'm running out of buttons and fingers to use all these abilities.)

Ancestral Guidance > Conductivity in all situations. The healing received from healing rain is a joke, while AG will heal mildly more (depending on damage output) and is non-localised.

Am I wrong to believe that there is a TON to keep track of? Cooldowns on spells, procs on spells, totems, moving totems, pets, etc. Is this chaos, button mashing, or does it all line up perfectly at end level? Also, I may recommend to anyone trying to level an enhancement shaman to go resto first until you get until dual-spec. You'll get better queues and enhance seems to have a HUGE amount of downtime in the early levels. Unless you like hardcasting lightning bolts that is. Then go for enhancement early on.

natures profit also echo of the elements is good with lava lash because it resets the cd of it and if you have 1 sec cd left you lose dps , with echo you will have 2 charges back and will almost ALWAYS get a full 10 sec cd reduction of your lava lash so good people

You can't :P There's a minor glyph that gives you fake totems for every element that you didn't drop. Can't tell you how many times I tried to macro multiple totems when I first leveled my shammy!
