Great episode! Wow your mom is fearless! Good job mom! We have experienced this kind of kindness from the locals there who even go out of there way to take you somewhere like that man took your mom to Godzilla, very nice people! I like it when that Godzilla makes noise and breathes some smoke! Aloha 🤙🏽😊

Thanks for your comment. She is, isn't she! :D I've only seen the smoke and music a handful of times. I wonder if it goes on the hour...

In my experience, the locals have been very very helpful. One girl even took me onto the train then told me when to get off. If I made a mistake with my bill on the train the ppl don’t get mad but they help you correct it. Or they get a translator in the stores. That’s on thing I’ve liked in japan

Just amazed how you mom presented herself very nicely. Unlike in my city that sometimes I confuse people asking for directions with mugging, because people ask quickly and insult you if you have no idea.

Absolute truth, language barriers and cultural differences are a thing if you're trying to get to know a foreign country. I worked with a woman who spoke of how easy it was getting around Japan, turns out the holiday was under a week and she blew a massive fortune staying in Tokyo by a popular high street, she browsed clothes shops and went to McDonald's and Starbucks every day.

When mom said nihao...it almost took me out. Mom was like, I'm going to throw it all at them and see where it lands. Lol but good on mom for being courageous enough to even try. That takes some true guts to go up to strangers, and in another language, you don't know even more so. How long is your mom staying for?

I love your contents. You’re such an amazing narrator. But I doubt that your mom got two shots at each individual shown in the video to correct her approach or get it right. That was kinda misleading, I wasn’t fooled by that tho. Gotta admit you’ve got some next level narrating skills. You kept me your audience entertained the whole time
