Frank all of this sounds like fairy tales to the non awakened. I greatly appreciate all this very interesting ideas but when it comes down to it , it has close to no impact to progress in the path. Can you focus a bit more on the basics? There are books to read of course on those but still I find there are many gaps and confusion around those. An ultra detailed walk through vipassanalising for example would shed much more light into it in my view.

Frank if you get a chance can you address how you built the skill to perceive a vibration at the atomic level? Not sure exactly how granular a sensation youre referring to there. For me on certain areas of my body where things are more sensitive ( like a finger) i can sense a sensation that i would describe as like the size of a pinprick. On other areas of my body like the outside of my thigh things are not that specific and its more feeling a sensation in a general area. So is it better to concentrate on areas where you have better acuity of sensation and just investigate those or focus on areas where you are weaker and scan the body?

Very interesting, dare I say *enlightening* again, hehe. Your and others' perspectives I've watched recently have not (yet) led me to begin meditating, but I think the lesson is not necessarly for everyone to instantly follow your path. Your and others' explanations have helped me though in that I now realize a bit more about who or what I am and am not, and that I'm planning a little less and living a little more in the moment - do and feel what seems right in the present, which actually seems somewhat automatic. Btw. a lot of what you describe reminds me of basic physics - the total energy in the universe is zero, there are just fluctuations. Even though "I" haven't experienced it (or have "I"), it intuitively feels right.

I'll just say what I think could be helpful, its to let go off fear and regret and do what you feel like. Just see what you feel like and do what you want based on that. Feeling bad about not doing certain things could be due to fear or regret and you can see whether the reason of that feeling of fear is something you wanna do or be (based on how you feel), and if not you can let go off it.

Hi Frank I have a question that you might be able to answer. I didn’t have any enlightenment experiences yet so I am stuck with my ego for the time. What I am curious about is what kind of ego is best to have when your goal is to drop it. I think that a really “positive“ ego is Hard to let go off because on the other hand a really “negative“ ego seems easier to let go off. (Eckhart Tolle for example had such a bad ego and was so depressed that his mind surrendered and he got enlightened) So I am kinda scared to do self improvement because I think it could backfire on my spiritual work. Or is there a way to do self improvement without buying into the new ego ? Would love to hear your thoughts.
@yamdagni3 жыл бұрын
I think many of us fall into the trap of thinking ego as some separate thing than who you think you are. That only makes it harder. Think of it as yourself for the time being. Because who you think you are, is indeed the ego. So in that light, what you are asking is, "Should I think negatively or positively?"
@jannesprzywara36583 жыл бұрын
@@yamdagni yes but I (= the ego) have to die to become enlightened. And I think when I have a great life it might be a lot harder to let go. So yeah idk if suffering on purpose might be a good technique to become enlightended or if most power just lies in the techniques.

Enlightenment is a very interesting subject. On one level, it is a real phenomena experienced by the individual. But on the other, people have historically used it as an imaginary prop with which they can gain a lot of power. Sometimes the two overlap - an individual seeking power is actually enlightened. And oftentimes there is no overlap at all.

The argument that everything can be verified my direct experience is simply not enough. Back in Kants time, he showed that rationalism can't be solely right because people believed that the sun was orbiting around the earth. It was because when you looked at the sun, it actually seemed like it. Yet reality is different. Another argument like that is color. Color is something that doesn't exist a priori, it's just something that we precieve in a very specific way. Experience is limited and false in many ways and cannot trancend itself just by thinking it. Wake up frank.
