I got this game today and Holy fuck is it fun. Especially the tanks. They're really fun to use, except for when the entirety of your tank crew die except for you, so you have to constantly switch between driver and gunner (I find it easier to drive from the driver's seat) 😂

Learn to fly and it gets even better. I just wish team mates understood the meaning of targeting where the enemy is all the time. But once you get the hang of the plane, bombing is fun

@@mrsanatra1 yeah I eventually unlocked the first plane and I love dive bombing the enemy repeatedly. The ability to replenish your ammo when you're out makes a good pilot pretty OP though, IMO, because if you're skilled enough, you can basically dominate the entire enemy team 😂

@@leodavis4242 I thought the same thing at first BUT if the enemy team has a good pilot or even decent one or a AA gun, you're dead. To me honestly, this game is well balanced for its style, i just wish they fixed the A.I squads. Sometimes they are terminators from any distance one shot you and the other they just are sacrifices

This game is weird, it's like it doesn't know if it wants to be arcade or realistic. It has a huge open map, yet a teeny tiny play space. Infantry are on the ground insta-spawning right in front of each other back to back, yet there is a fully fleshed out cockpit Stuka dive bomber making his paces 2k above the map and planning dive runs not unlike Warthunder lol I don't get it. It's a very beautiful game too and the animations feel nice and 3d. I wish they would take a step back, slow things down, maybe remove some hud elements, space things out a bit, give a few tools for some squad level tactics (maybe only as much as red orchestra 2 had), and this game would be amazing. Thanks for the showing Devil Dog, good stuff as always

Nothing much will change probably, except some graphics. If you play war thunder, which has the same devs you know, that they will just add new stuff like planes, tanks, etc., without fixing real problems.

Yea hopefully it figures itself out. I believe the one reason why they seem to be spawning in front of each other is because you are a squad leader controlling a squad of AI. If you die, you can keeep taking over members of your squad and playing them until the squad is wiped out. Hence “spawning” in front of each other.

Just look at Hell let loose, how much time it´s been out and they are cosntantly working on it and important aspects, yet they havent added transport vehicles yet, but they will.

What I'm worried most about this game is that it doesn't really look like vehicles are playing as big of a role as I was hoping. That and once it releases all the beta testers will have a huge advantage over new players. Also where the hell is the anti-air?

This campaign is the Battle of Moscow, so late 1941. They will be adding other campaigns. I know that they are adding North Africa (1942/1943) Normandy (1944) and Battle of Berlin (1945).

It's not OP, but considering how ineffective CAS was in WW2 against non static targets it should get nerfed. It'd be cooler if it was a single strafe then a flight to an evac point instead of a resupply point, then a short timer before you can take it out again.

Yet Hell Let Loose isn’t going to be Grind:The Game. This, however, will be. Plus, Games like Hell Let Loose, IMO, are much better in how combat works, and how there’s actual logistics. May be biased tho, as I’ve watched a lot of Project Reality, and like games that work similarly.

How can you accurately drop your bombs? What indicator or method do you use?

Divebombing. You dive at a steep angle, and your bombs naturally align with the reticle approximately. A full straight down dive will be the most accurate. I recommend watching some videos on the subject. The plane he was using in the video is a Ju 87 variant which was designed for divebombing. Next time you play, try this plane. When you are over the battlefield, turn down your throttle, and go into a dive. Find the target, get your reticle on it, drop bomb, and try to pull up before you hit the ground. If the concept is still a bit fuzzy, just imagine how a bomb wants to fall. It wants to fall straight to the ground. If you divebomb, you are falling with the bomb, and guiding it's trajectory. Just think of it as you being the bomb, and where you want the bomb to go.

I hate when I'm playing games like this and my entire team are more worried about getting kills than completing the objective of whatever game mode we're playing. It's like, if you want to just kill, die, and respawn, go play deathmatch, ffs. It's the main reason I quit playing these types of games.
