1w2 infj and I can concur that learning about the enneagram and realizing not everyone had this inner critic was truly life changing. I was able to almost immediately get rid of a lot of resentment towards specific people in my life.

Great stuff as always! I loved what you said about the 1-7 confusion. One side of my family are all somewhere on the line between 1 and 7 and it's incredibly difficult to figure it out. But I definitely enjoy having that class clown-meets-serious manager energy around in my 8 fort!!

Thank you for explaining this and showing how all types connect. I decided to learn about enneagram a few days ago, and found out am a 6. I watched your 6 subtypes and 6w5/7 videos. And now i want to learn about the other types too. These videos are great, cant wait for the intro to the other types.

4w5 here......totally called out on testing people 😂. Basically a cat in human form. Is that completely a bad thing? I'm trying to be more "normal" in daily interactions but it definitely takes effort. 😆

"Renew themselves and transform their experiences" - I'd say this means not to indulge in our past tragedies or whatever, to express them in a healthy and meaningful way, so that they will serve a purpose - e.g. through art - and move on. Like a phoenix. Grow from the ashes :)

I'm a 4 and I dont strive to be extraordinary. I'm just autistic which already makes me be not ordinary it's already exhausting to live with that. I dont strive to be different, cause that is exhausting.

6:43 I don't seek to break rules, but I have little care for them if they don't serve me/civilization. You mentioned 1s ordering kids to eat the peas before dessert, now I don't have kids but I would frequently ignore such silly rules when I lived with my parents or if some teacher tried that with me....To some extent I go after what I want and don't care about rules - who are others to tell me what to do? I can think for myself and take responsibility for my own actions, I will not live by someone else's rules that just means living their lives and not my own. /Sx-1.

A lot of the 4w5 sounds like me in ways as a christian but I've recently learned where i start at wasnt 4w5 but as a 6w5. A lot of 4w5 stuff could be the 6w5 too. 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. I am a 6w5 social. Isfj, a. My pastor is an enfp and my pasters wife is also a isfj like me (though we are different individuals). I just wanted anyone else who might have thought they are a four or 4w5 to know it's okay and that being 6w5 isn't a death sentence though there is a lot of things we've had to go through we are loved by others and the Lord and he has so much more for us all. 🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍.

As a 9 my wings are different depending on my role. As a single mom I am a 9w8. As a daughter, I'm a 9w1, in my career I appear as a 3.

I am new to the enneagram. I have taken the test from the enneagram institute and got a strong 4. I have read all the types and the one I resonate with the most is the 4. But, I still doubt it. I am here trying to figure this it out.

In short, yes. You could be a 1w2 or 2w1 with a strong line to 4.
