Enoeda Sensei - His Final Demonstration

I once had the honour of training at a class taken by Sensei Enoeda. Picked me along with one other student to come out and demonstrate the technique he wanted us to do and commended me on my stance. One of my proudest moments in training. A truly great man and inspirational karateka.

Training with him once at red triangle very strong karate but Not learn alot from lesson. Disappointing

Forever my Sensei !! Trained with Sensei Enoeda for a number of years before his death. He graded me many times and awarded me Black belt. Ive since gone on and now am 3rd Dan JKA. I owe him so much. RIP Sensei

My Sensei, he lives on in spirit, a legend, , KANKU DAI - meaning "To look at the sky" This was his last performing kata display at the N.I.A Birmingham. Great meaning behind the kata, great man, great karate. Truly missed. Sayonara Sensei.

Sensei Enoeda was a 10th Dan !!!! Pissed off the JKA which is why he didn't get the 10th dan ! Who you lot kidding?

And such good control ..... if he'd wanted to he could kill you with just one technique but Sensei Enoeda was a gentleman except to people trying it on ... was funny watching em get their come uppence ...

I think this "kill with one technique" stuff is overplayed a lot, and I'm a Shotokan practitioner. Maybe "Hurt you badly" with one technique, but to state it would kill is just romanticising it.

He was 67 and already ill. Sadly I can't speak from personally training with him, but from the books I've read, Enoeda was as tough and skilful as they come. A 2nd Dan at Judo as well.

It's not Kail, it's called karate. Completely different art do NOT doubt its effectiveness.
