@Chukoocharlie ‐- Johnny would've had to have royalties on Disney using the Captain Jack Sparrow's character's likeness, however they were going to use it,, written into his contract. When Robin Williams was the genie in Aladdin, Disney was making a TON of money off of the genie's "likeness" (toys, games, etc.), but Robin only got paid for the movie ... that's why they used someone else's voice for the 2nd movie. If I remember correctly, Robin sued Disney, they had to pay him (to "reimburse" him, as it were), AND they gave him a valuable painting (Picasso?) as a "no hard feelings" gift.

I will say it again that I think she was taking out her anger for her own father ( who she mentioned a bit about when she said she was beaten when younger and clearly she needed to get away from home) and men in general , on Depp. It seems she had no trust in him right from the start and that she had no conscious sympathy or feeling / genuine concern for him when it came to his getting off of drugs, besides when it inconvenienced her. She demanded that detox happen because his substance abuse wasn’t conducive to her plans for him ; yet , John Depp the real person seems to have relied upon these substances most of his life : to keep his demanding schedule and energy level ; Then, to aid his ability to deescalate from all of that and be the in between movies and real life family guy. Very hard to do !! and drugs are a way when started at a young age - to cope with stress! Seems as if they were just part of a way of life for him not any big deal. I am absolutely not condoning drug use here. But , here you have a consummate actor a true thespian in every way doing his Job for decades entertaining the masses and in walks somebody who needs all his time. And his body was of course addicted to it all. It might have helped if she also herself had shut down her drug and alcohol use and had become an actual real support and ally in the fight .

If he was truly this abusive monster, there would of been signs his whole adult life, not just the last 6 years or however long. I've hung on to every word JD has said and pay complete attention to him speaking. The raw honesty even if its embarrassing and for a man to swallow his pride and pretty much opening up to basically the whole flipping world is so so very courageous and brave. And if thereare any young boys or men out there trying to figure out who they are ,at any age in their life, and the characteristics they want to grow for themselves and some one to look up to..I believe Johnny Depp is someone to admire. The drug problem is just a big mistake that millions of people fight everyday and overcome. He admits to the"Gorilla on his back" and the fighting hes done to get it off. He seems to be strong , confident and doesn't hide his mistakes or horrible decisions that hes made in his life. Unfortunately ,this kind of person is hard to come by but their amazing men and I love that kind of man.

What strikes me is that I’ve yet to hear AH admit one single mistake that she’s ever made. Instead she gets a nasty look on her face, lies through a story and cries through her “victim” situations. She’s spreading it on WAY too thick. It’s not believable to anybody. I doubt her own attorneys believe her. They can’t seem to come up with anything reasonable to present to the court and in fact, they’re making mistakes left and right. Could that be possibly intentional? Contact with family was impossible as she would argue with them and make me believe they were in the wrong. Never ending arguments where I would also walk away just to be followed. Took me along time to trust anyone...once I finally asked for divorce all the allegations come out. Apart from the fame and finances, i can relate to Mr Depp so much and my divorce was awful....I'm married again now and even till this day I'll get the odd message of abuse from a random Facebook profile.

I can really see him reliving his experiences as he speaks. Especially when there’s a recording of Amber screaming, it is like he immediately goes back to how he felt at that time. His feelings are palpable. He feels very genuine! Heard on the other hand, looks cold calculated and narcissistic. Not a flicker of emotion. Any odd reactions are clearly thought out and very obviously acted as there is no genuine ‘meeting up’ of expressions across the face. Meaning that if she tries to look sad it’s like asking a child, “show me a sad face?” “Show me a disappointed face?” When teaching them words - connecting to their emotions. Ambers expressions are exactly like that. Some people have that air about them that feels cold and the kind of person who as a kid at school you’d avoid because she’d exude “bully” vibes.
