Hey man, I'm a sub. I've seen you help people who send you dilemmas and was wondering if you'd give your two cents on this...I'm 21 and as close to a virgin as I'd like, only had sex once at 19 and can't remember a thing. I'm having extreme difficulty connecting with women and don't meet many new ones...those I do I end up just friends. I'm not the best looking guy and have little confidence. I can only work on these things but I'm not into the idea of one night stands, I'm joining the military to try and work through my confidence and life issues but I'm getting increasingly concerned about my lack of experience with women and it's only getting worse as time goes on. I also feel I get used by both friends and women and that I'm not really valued by either. What would be your opinion on what my next steps would be? Thanks.

Another thing that is really helpful in not only attracting women but attracting attention and opportunities in general is being comfortable in how you carry your body. If you notice guys who can express themselves through the way their body moves i.e brilliant atheletes, dancers, rock musicians, they all have women hanging off them which is a by-product of them being comfortable in their own skin, and they take blows in their stride better than those who aren't that way inclined. Some will have it early in life, some later, some never. People really shouldn't make such a big deal out of being a virgin.

I know it's stupid and it but people really do judge others based on their sexual experience or lack thereof. Having lots of sexual partners as a man is an indicator of social acceptance and success because it's generally considered harder to impress women. If you admit to being a virgin late in life it's an indicator of something being wrong. People really do judge you for it, if you're a virgin they think you're pathetic because it's an experience you're supposed to have by a certain age or you've failed as a man, you are a loser in the eyes of society. It's the equivalent of still living with your parents when you're in your 30s. Sex is considered a rite of passage into adulthood. If you're a virgin late in life as a man it's probably best to lie about it to avoid the harsh judgement, or just wait until you really trust the person before telling them. People are assholes and judge you over the dumbest shit.

People often have an automatic predetermined image of a certain type of person when they hear the word "virgin" so if you admit to being one their image of you will change to fit that archetype. The label is tainted because most of the virgin stereotypes are negative so once you are plastered with that label people will subconsciously associate you with those stereotypes. They can't help it unless they are aware of it.

Another break out towards self empowerment is art in all it's forms...this will only be relevant to a much smaller number of people but artists break all the rules. It doesn't matter what you look like, body size/shape/height or anything. You don't even have to take care of your body. If you have talent, not necessarily enough to become famous but good enough to draw attention to yourself, women love it. Art also makes you a driven person, so your focused on your interest not worrying about pointless, self destructive shit. As a woman something that came as a surprise to me was how many men have low confidence and suffer from social anxiety. I thought this was mainly a woman's problem. Men are much better at hiding feelings and thoughts that telegraphs them as being weak. I think they do this particularly with men but than poor out all these feelings of inadequacy to a woman they are in a relationship with which than freaks her out because in her mind he is the one who is suppose to be strong and protective of her. Like he said to boost your confidence. Get a gym membership and workout and get fit. Eat well too. Concentrate on your career, make more money and build yourself up. I found myself at 21, few years of college, gained some confidence by taking challenging classes, started own business which forced me to deal with all sorts of people and face my fears, everything from heights to financial risk, these things help immensely with my confidence in general, it must be earned. As well as becoming prosperous eventually. But I was *still terrified of girls, especially those who showed intense interest in me* . This may sound wrong to many but it worked wonders for ME. After having missed out on a couple fantastic opportunities with wonderful girls in college, simply out of FEAR....I was so pissed off at myself that I decided I knew exactly what to do--DO every girl who wanted me (I was a virgin up to then) and after my first few more came around, I guess word got out. I didn't carry on this way indefinitely, maybe a couple yr.s until I found a girl I fell in love with. It was the experience with the others that got me past the tragic, self destructive fear of what I wanted MOST. I deliberately murdered my shy side, it was the best thing I ever accomplished and I had fun doing it! :D Some cherished memories even with some ordinary girls. I can't simply talk to myself in the shower, I have to 'climb the mountain', PROVE by doing the calculus, physics, rebuild an engine, take on contracts that I don't fully see my way through in the beginning and finish them to the customers satisfaction, satisfy some women before I know I can.

You are 3 people. Who you think you are, who others think you are and who you really are. Take inventory of your attributes to work on your weakness and maintain your strengths. I suffered from body dismorphia after years of cutting weight in wrestling. Being the smallest kid I was tough from taking on all the bullies. I was a natural at wrestling and it helped me puch way above my weight class, no more being bullied! It has taken a long time to get to who I am from who I thought I was. I have taken up weight training over the years and am now very well developed. The confidence draws the women in as I know I am jacked and so do they. The self affirmation and the affection from ladies creates a positive loop that builds self confidence. To get in the loop you need to believe in yourself 1st.

I was an actual virgin until 20, not by choice lol But when I had more experience in life and then decided to adopt that “I don’t give a fuck” lifestyle and actually worked out, got a nice car, etc Then! And only then when I loosened up and started not caring I literally started getting so many women, even women that previously didn’t want anything to do with me and they were straight up telling me that they didn’t know what happened to me but they loved the new me 😂 You gotta work on it is my point. Don’t just be a sad sap guys.
